Service: Process Study Year: 2006. AFE amount: Study has been commissioned to PM Lucas by Kuat Amlon Munai to make an evaluation of Konys CPF performance, which is currently having problems producing Spec Oil. The Study is proposing the solutions for installing of new equipment and Tanks, which will ensure future oil production to be in spec. Study has been entirely done by PML Canada process engineering team.
Project name: North Nuraly Oil and Gas Gathering System Service: Detailed design Year: 2006. AFE amount: Present project The North Nuraly Gathering System calls for well site development of the following producing wells NN1, NN2, NN3, NN4, NN7, NN9, NN10, NN11, NN12, NN13, NN14 and flow lines from the existing and future wells to the future Satellite 1. From North Nuraly field, crude oil will be transported to Kumkol South field via 8 oil collector, tying in to the existing GS-23 in Kumkol South. Project is ongoing.

Service: Detailed design Year: 2006. AFE amount: The Project has extended Aryskum CPF Tank Farm. Two new 2000m Oil Tanks have been added and the existing piping was extended to allow for the settling of oil.
3
Project name: Aryskum CPF PLC program update Service: As-Built Design Year: 2006. AFE amount: PLC program update has been made to incorporate the newly added Tanks at Aryskum Tank Farm to the existing PLC. This reprogramming enables the remote control of new tanks operation and their inclusion to existing Safety System.
Project name: Gathering System engineering Services Akzhar Oil Field Service: Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction support Year: 2005. AFE amount: The project includes further development of Akzhar field gathering system, complete with installation of remote field headers. Also, the phase 1A developed Central Process Facility is to be extended and to include process solution for providing the spec oil in two 1000m3 oil tanks. This phase is to prepare facility for the future oil transport via sales pipeline. The faciulity is to be winterized completly (installlation of line heater and utility heaters, heat tracing, etc)

Project name: Ariskum BKNS facilities Service: Detailed Design, Construction support Year: 2005. AFE amount: Due to increased produced water rates and to improve Aryskum oil field overall performance, a multi well water injection system, called BKNS, is installed including new high pressure distribution system from the BKNS location to injection wells. Along with the timely increased water injection rate requirements and with regards to the produce water flow rates forecasted, make up from source water wells is provided.
Project name: South Kumkol BKNS Facility 6000 m3 Service: Detailed Design, Construction support Year: 2005. AFE amount: The purpose of this project is to install water injection Pump Station at the South Kumkol Oil field, consisting of Pump Station Building (BKNS) equipped with High Pressure Injection pumps and Interconnection piping to tie in the existing 6 inch produced water collector, running from the Kumkol CPF to BKNS and existing South Kumkol injection water distribution system. It was necessary to increase the water injection rate in the South Kumkol field to replace voidage and increase net oil recovery. Providing a dedicated BKNS in South Kumkol helped alleviate the water injection bottlenecks in the Kumkol South water distribution system.
Project name: Konys CPF as Built Design Service: As - Built Design Year: 2005. AFE amount: PM Lucas has been engaged from its client Kuatamlon Munai to make As Built Design of existing Central Process Facility at Konys Oil Field. This project includes collection of all data for installed equipment as well as making of Topological Survey.

Project name: Konys Oil Field Development GUP PHASE I Gas Re-Injection Facility Installation Service: Detailed Design Year: 2005. AFE amount: As per the Year 2005 development budget, the scope of this project is designing and installation of a Gas Re-injection Facility at the location of the Konys CPF, as the first phase of this project. The Gas Re-injection facilities are sized for the Design Flow Rate (gas injection capacity) of 200 000 Sm3/day, which will be in the first phase injected into the wells K-105 and K-400. Gas Separation and Flaring Facilities are the part of the existing Konys Oil Field Central Process Facility (CPF). Future Gas Handling System will be based on the produced gas quantities from existing Gas Scrubber (VE-302) on CPF and potential other sources, like the produced gas from Aryskum South Dome.

Project name: Aryskum LPG Storage - Akshabulak Service: Engineering, Procurement Supp, Construction Supp. (MSS) Year: 2005. The LPG from the GTP process shall be pumped to an LPG storage system to be located on an adjacent site to the GTP facility. Therefore PM Lucas has designed Liquefied Petrol Gas storage and tank cars loading facility, with the following capacities: Storing capacity: 12 LPG above ground bullets, 200 m3 each, 2400 m3 total storing volume Loading capacity: three pumps and three tank loading stations 45 m3/h unit capacity
Project name: Gas Treatment Plant - Akshabulak Service: Engineering, Procurement Supp, Construction Supp. (MSS) Year: 2005. In the existing COPS facilities all incoming inlet fluids was directed to the high-pressure separators. The gas and oil are separated and oil is then heated and enters the low-pressure separator. The produced crude oil is then sent to the storage tanks, while all gas (from all stages - high pressure 7.5-9.0 bars, low pressure 1.5-3.0 bars and tank gas recovery) was flared. This facility is designed to capture all of the gas currently being flared and direct it to the proposed gas treatment facility. In order to sell the gas, the same must be treated to meet hydrocarbon and water dewpoint so that it can be pipelined to the delivery point at Kyzlorda.
