Projects Profile:
1. Project Title: Mobile TV for BSNL, IDEA, MTNL, AIRTEL. Project Summary: Mobile TV is an application which allows users to watch live TV on go. It works mostly on all GPRS enabled mobile phones with easy to use interfaces. Apalya Technologies is one of the companies providing Mobile TV service for different mobile networks like Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Bsnl, Mtnl etc. Responsibilities: Testing whether the application is perfectly installing in the Android devices. Functional Testing manually Verifying the Results through Logs in jboss. Uploading rtsp and http links and look out in 3G and 2G network. Testing the applications under different operators. Working on both prepaid and postpaid billing. Database testing like data design testing, data integrity testing, triggers, views functionality. Testing the applications both on WI-FI and through network. Tracking the bugs and reporting the developers. Performed Positive and Negative Testing. Modifying the data in databases and checking whether it is reflecting in client side. User acceptance testing, bug tracking and reporting with root cause to Mantis. Responsibilities: Involved in developing and documenting Test Cases based on BRS/DDS and USE CASE documents. Apart from functional testing working on whitelist of IPs, inserting daily movies and VODs in DB. Bandwidth monitoring. Watching the quality of RTMP and HTTP links in WOWZA streaming and OSM players. Closely working with the Developers and the Test Lead to verify the Test Cases.
