Your Burdens by PM God corrects His children, if they are part of His family.

Each of us choose our own life style. He wont interfere in your life, unless you ask Him to. Of course, this applies to those with free will. Why does God allow these to choose which path in life they will take? Because He loves you. On judgment day, your punishment or rewards will be based on your actions in life. You will be totally accountable. You will have no room to blame God because He did this or that to you. The choice is yours. You may choose to be part of the family of God, or you may choose something entirely different. Lets begin our study concerning your burdens in Hebrews. Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, The cloud of witnesses we are included with in this verse are those aforementioned in Chapter 11. This is quite a group which includes Enoch, Moses, Isaac, etc. The word patience in this verse means endurance. Dont allow sin to pull you off track. Check out the word weight in your Strongs Concordance. It means your burdens. Get rid of trouble and burdens in your life. They too will pull you off track. Stay focused on Gods Word! That is the only way God can utilize you as a witness. Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Do you think you have burdens? What about Someone Who was totally innocent being nailed to a cross? Jesus Christ joyfully

endured that burden for you and I. He now sits on the right hand of God dispensing mercy to those that follow His teachings. Hebrews 12:3 For consider Him That endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. You have an Intercessor sitting at the right hand of God. How do you get rid of burdens? Pray to God in the Name of your Intercessor for the strength to deal with your burdens and the wisdom to stay away from troubles and burdens in the future. You will find that wisdom in His Word. Do things Gods way. Hebrews 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. No one has asked you to be crucified. Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the LORD, nor faint when thou are rebuked of Him: When God chastises you kiss the paddle, say thank you Father and get your act together. If you arent part of the family, dont worry about God chastising you. He wont, until judgement day! Hebrews 12:6 For whom the LORD loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth. 7. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? There is no gender implied. This applies to all of His children. Endure Gods chastisement humbly. Pray for the strength and wisdom to do things His way in the future. Get rid of your sins and

burdens so you can be useful witness. Hebrews 12.8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. If God doesnt correct you, He doesnt consider you part of His family. God will allow some to go to the devil. Lets skip to verse 25. Listen closely. This is why you cant afford to hang on to your burdens. Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not Him That speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused Him That spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from Him That speaketh from heaven: As concerning the elect, we are talking about refusing the Holy Spirit here, friends. That is the unforgiveable sin. Hebrews 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. The shaking of earth and heaven will occur at the second advent. How easily are you shaken? If you are anchored in Him and His Word, you cant be shaken. If your foundation is the words of men, you will be shaken. Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29. For our God is a consuming fire.

That consuming fire is the warmth that those who love and serve God feel when the Holy Spirit touches their hearts. To Satan and those that follow him that fire is none other than the lake of fire that blots them out. Turn with me to Galatians. How do we get rid of our burdens? You have no business carrying around a lot of weight, when you are supposed to be doing Gods business. Galatians6.1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault

ye which are spiritual restore such an one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest thou also be tempted. Christians have a responsibility to help those who have gotten off track. You might be the next one to fall. This applies to those who want help and are trying. Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. The law of Christ is love. We are family. Burdens, whether yours or another family members, effect the whole family. Dont kick someone when they are down. Galatians 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. I dont suppose you have ever met a person like this. Galatians 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For every man shall bear his own burden. Dont compare your works with the works of others. God gives different gifts, and He expects different dividends on those gifts. We have different responsibilities concerning the family. Dont let your works become lacking because of burdens. Get rid of them! Lets turn to the Book of Matthew. Jesus warns us about burdens. Matthew 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to His disciples, 2. Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat: I Chronicles 2:55 tells us that the Kenites became the scribes for Judah. The enemy had crept even into the seat of Moses who was the

lawgiver of the church. Matthew 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. Observe, or keep, Gods Word, but dont do as they do. They arent practicing that which they preach. Their objective is to fleece the sheep. Matthew 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on mens shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. They wont lift a finger to help. They are going against the law of Christ we read of earlier. The truth of Gods Word will set you free, not bind you with heavy-burdens. Dont listen to religious leaders that would place you in bondage and place burdens on your shoulders. Matthew 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, Both of the practices mentioned in this verse were designed to make them look very holy. Matthew 23:6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7. And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. Rabbi means my Master. Dont reverence man. There is no man worthy of reverence. Reverence God! Matthew 23.8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for One is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. This Scripture is the reason that I dont want anyone to call me

reverend. We are all equal in the flesh. Dont allow any religious leader to convince you otherwise. Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for One is your Father, Which is in heaven. There is only One Father. Matthew 23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for One is your Master, even Christ. 11. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. Thats just the way it is, beloved. Religious leaders, or anyone else for that matter, that exhalt themselves are about to be abased. Dont allow them to place burdens on you. In conclusion, lets turn to Matthew 11. This will be some of the best advice you will ever receive concerning getting rid of your burdens. Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank Thee, 0 Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Babes are eager to learn. Their minds arent cluttered up with the traditions of men. Matthew 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in Thy sight. 27. All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him. 28. Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Do you want to know how to get rid of your burdens? Ask Him for help. He promised that He would give you rest. That means true peace of

mind. Do things His way. That means get out of usury. Paying two or three times over the value of something because of usury will certainly place a burden or two on your shoulders. Use the brain that God gave to you. Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. You learn of Him through the Living Word. What is a yoke? A yoke binds two together as one. Are you yoked to Christ? That is the only way to find true rest. Matthew 11.30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. Put the yoke of Christ on your shoulders. When you are yoked with Christ, you will find His yoke allows you to carry even heavy loads much easier than by yourself. To be an effective witness for God you must get rid of sin and your burdens. Christ is the answer to both. He paid the price on the cross so that you may repent and be free of sin. Christ wants you to put His yoke on so that He may give you rest from your burdens.
