    About Aadhaar - Unique Identification


    As you maybe aware, Aadhaar is an endeavor of the government of India to issue Unique Identity to the residents of India and to provide foolproof identification & authentication framework within the country. Wipro is conducting enrolments and issuance of Unique Identification to the citizens of India in various parts of country including the city of Bengaluru Authorized by Government of Karnataka.

    How you can enrol for getting Aadhaar


    You can enrol for getting Aadhaar by visiting the Enrolment Centre (details for these below) and provide the following information: 1. Demographic Information: Name, Gender, Date of Birth and Address Information of parent / guardian along with their UID number (in case of minor children)

    Consent to open an UID enabled Bank Account. In case resident is not interested in that, he is required to furnish his existing bank account details.

    Biometric Information:

    The following bio-metric information is collected from residents, as a pre-requisite, to uniquely identify a resident: Photograph, IRIS and Fingerprints -all 10 finger prints.

    3.

    Documentary proofs would be needed

    Attached are the list of Proof of Identification (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) that you would need to bring along. If you are availing LPG, Ration Cards etc please bring original copy of benefits such as Ration card, LPG Connections.
