Robert Fernandez FBIFM FM Consultant Robert is a skilled FM Consultant and practitioner. He has developed a wide range of experience in all areas of facilities management over the last 25 years. This experience was gained rstly as a senior property management professional within the nancial services sector and more recently as a highly motivated FM consultant. As Assistant Vice-President, Property Management with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, Robert looked after 3/4 million square feet of ofces in the UK. In this position, he was responsible for acquisition and disposal, tting-out and day to day management of the buildings under his control. During the last 20 years, Robert has conducted FM consultancy assignments for many leading organisations. These assignments include: Space use studies Relocation and moves management Fit-out project management Furniture specication, sourcing and installation IT cabling systems specication and installation management Service contract specication and tendering Occupancy cost studies FM advice for PFI projects Robert is a Founder Fellow of the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) and holds a Diploma in Administrative Management. Having assisted in the development of the Institutes training programme, he now presents on several of the courses, and has also delivered international training in the Middle East, Africa and Russia. Robert has won the BIFMs coveted Presenter of the Year award on two occasions. He sees education and training as the key to the growth, development and recognition of the facilities management profession.
