Dog & Cat First Aid and CPR

This is a self-paced course with continuous enrollment

$25.00
Pets, particularly kittens and puppies, are so busy exploring their new environments that they
don’t understand the trouble they can find. To varying degrees, most of us child-proof our
homes when we have an exploring toddler who cannot be watched every second. But, it is not so
easy to do the same for a young pet because they find trouble where no child would dream of
looking. Like babies, anything that will fit in their mouths typically ends up there. However, the
sharp teeth of your pets can make this habit even more life-threatening than it is for small
children. For example, electrical cords are perceived as a great chew toy, whose dangers are
unrecognizable to the young animal.

Would you know what to do if your puppy chewed through the insulation to the hot wires of a
table lamp? Are you planning a vacation with your pet as a companion? Or, do you perhaps live
in a rather remote locale, far away from the nearest veterinarian? In other words, are you
prepared to help your cat or dog in an emergency? No? Then this class is for you.

You will learn basic first aid tips such as cleaning a wound, performing CPR, how to deal with
shock, making splints, etc. Learn what over-the-counter human medications can help or harm
your pet. Also, learn how to quickly determine what is wrong with your pet. By knowing what
to do in an emergency and acting quickly, you can save your pet’s life. Don’t you owe as much
to one of your most loyal and faithful family members?
