Some of the elements of leadership that will be explored include: AUTHENTICITY are your actions and words aligned with your core values? VISION do you have a compelling vision of the future and have a powerful belief in your ability to positively influence the future? SELF-REFLECTION do you take the time out to pause and reflect and encourage a culture of same in your organisation? COURAGE in the face of adversity, how do you remain true to your core principles, values and vision? The workshop will have participatory dialogue based methodologies as its central element, and will offer opportunities to network with other emerging leaders.

Angela has over 20 years experience working in regional communities in the human services area, from a service delivery level to policy and funding level. Angela is a self-employed human services consultant whose practice is underpinned by the frameworks of Asset Based Community Development, Appreciative Inquiry and dialogue based methodologies.

IWDS is a project of the Health and Community Services Workforce Council Inc. and is funded by the Department of Communities QLD.
