Water lilies grow extremely quickly in ponds. Each day it covers a surface double that which it covered the day before. If one such lily grew this way, so that at the end of the 20th day it covered the entire pond in which it grew, how long would it take for two water lilies of the same size at the outset and at the same rate of growth to cover the same pond? 7.) How many flowers do I have if all of them are roses except two, all of them are tulips except two, and all of them are daisies except two?

8.) One brick is one kilogram and half a brick heavy. How heavy is one brick? 9.) There are 6561 balls. Out of them one is heavier than the others. Find the minimum number of times the balls have to be weighed using a weighing scale (weights of known values are not available) for finding out the heavy ball.

11.)My house has a number. If my house number is a multiple of 3, then it is a number from 50 through 59. If my house number is not a multiple of 4, then it is a number from 60 through 69. If my house number is not a multiple of 6, then it is a number from 70 through 79. What is my house number?

12.) The owner of the mansion has been murdered. The visitors to the mansion were Allen, Bixby and Crain. The murderer, who was one the three visitors, arrived at the mansion later than at least one of the other two visitors. A detective, who was one the three visitors, arrived at the mansion earlier than at least one of the other two visitors. The detective arrived at the mansion at mid night. Neither Allen nor Bixby arrived at the mansion after mid night. The earlier arriver of Bixby and Crain was not the detective. The later arriver of Allen and Crain was not the murderer. Who was the murderer?

13.)One of Mr. Sam, his wife, their son, and Mr. Sams mother is a doctor and another is a lawyer. If the doctor is younger than the lawyer, then the doctor and the lawyer are not blood relatives. If the doctor is a woman, the doctor and lawyer are blood relatives. If the lawyer is a man, then the doctor is a man. Whose occupation do you know and what is it?

15.)A man wanted to get into a club where only members were allowed. So, he hid and watched the guard at the door of the club house. The guard said a number to each member as they approached, and the member would respond with a number of their own. If the member responded with the correct number they were let in. If they responded incorrectly they were thrown out. One member came up to the door, the guard said twelve, and the member responded with six and was let in. Another member came to the door, the guard said six and the member responded with three and was let in. Believing he had heard enough, the man went up to the guard. The guard said ten, and the man said five, but he was not let in. What should the man have said in order to get in?
