 Introduction
Getting free advertising can help you dramatically. The
most obvious reason for this, of course, is the fact the you will be
able to keep the money that you would have normally spent on it!
As the owner of my own publishing company, I can tell you that
advertising is a huge chunk of our business costs. I have spent
millions of dollars on advertising. I probably don’t need to tell you
that the idea of putting that money into your own pocket (instead
of spending it on running ads) is exhilarating.
The purpose of this program is simple. I am sharing the
list of free advertising sources that I have discovered through
years of painstaking research. In order to locate these sources, I
have also spent thousands of dollars. To be honest, I made a lot
of mistakes in the beginning. But, after awhile, I discovered the
true secrets of getting FREE advertising!

It is important to realize that you have

not merely purchased a few pages of
information. But you didn’t buy this
booklet for it’s length! You bought it
because of the incredibly valuable
information which is being given to you!

Some important things

for you to know!
It is important that you don’t jump ahead of the list. Before
we do so, there are a number of CRUCIAL things that you must
learn if you hope to make money from your free advertising…

• Just because the ad is free doesn’t mean that you are

automatically going to make money. This may seem
obvious, but it really needs to sink in. As it is with
traditional advertising, you only make money when you run
a good advertisement. Those rules don’t change. A bad
free ad will flop just like a bad paid ad will flop. The good
thing about getting free advertising is that

• You must NEVER ask for money in your free ads.

This piece of advice is “worth it’s weight in gold” because
of the fact that you will never make a single dime by asking
for money in your free ad. (See the point below to learn
what you SHOULD do.)

• Your advertisement should offer something for FREE.
The best ideas include offering either

• (a) GOODSending a free report by mail.

When you use this method, you will send a free
report which gives information on the ideas that
you promoted in your free ad. Of course, the
report should also sell something to your
customers for a fee. It may take you time to get
it right, but when you do, you can make good
money.
The idea itself is actually quite simple. Offer a
free report which sells a product. Get enough
people to buy your product so that all costs are
covered (printing, mailing, etc.,) and the rest is
profit!

• (b) BESTEmailing the information to your

customer (sending email is FREE). If you
decide to use this method, you’ll need to ask
the reader of your ad to email you. (Of course,
you will put your email address in the ad.) But
the most important thing if you are going to use
email is to use an:

AUTO-RESPONDER!
It is CRUCIAL that you use an auto-responder
if you use the email method. An auto-
responder is quite simple. It can be set up
easily and without hassle. It is a great thing.
Here’s how it workswhen someone emails
you for more information, the auto-responder
sends the information by return email, almost
instantly. Of course, you determine what that
information is. It should be your free report
which ends in a grab for the sale.
Of course, you may be wondering where you
can get an auto-responder. It’s easy. If you
have your own website, you should ask the
company which hosts your site. They will
probably have the capacity to provide you with
a simple auto-responder.

 Get a separate email
account for the auto-responder!
If you do decide to use an auto-responder, here’s the
wrap-up of what you’ll be doing

• You will be running ads which ask the reader to email you
for more information on your product. (“For more
information, send an email to info@xyz.com”);
• You will need to get an email account which is ONLY used
for this purpose;
• You will need to write an outgoing email that will be sent to
the people who email your account for more information;
• The email should contain an advertisement (lengthier than
the free ad that referred them to you in the first place) that
directly asks the reader to buy your product;
• The email should contain ordering information so that it is
easy for them to order your product.

Simply visit http://www.autoresponder.com!

• You have been given REPRINT RIGHTS to this

information. This is an incredible value because you will
be able to sell this report (yes, this report) to others.

Of course, you do not have to sell this

report. (You can sell anything that you
want to sell). But there is good reason for
doing so. You will be placing free ads.
Other people also use this free advertising
and will likely want to know more sources
where they can place their ads for free.
People who already place free ads are the
perfect audience for “Free Ad Sources”!
When these people see your ad (for this
very report), some of them will be very
interested in what you have to offer. After

• You should never stop placing your free ads. Of

course, advertisements don’t run forever. As such, it is
important that you place new advertisements on a
continuing basis. In any business, it’s important to get the
word out all the time. You should certainly do this for your
business.
• Testing an advertisement determines what works.
Let’s say that you decide to run an ad that you think is
great. You’re all excited and are hoping that your
promotion proves successful. But what happens if it
doesn’t?
If your ads don’t get the results that you have been hoping
for, the problem is most likely the ad itself. Rewrite the ad
and run it again. If results get better, stay with the ad. If,
however, the results remain flat, create yet another ad.
Continue to do this until your advertising produces results.
It is the job of every advertiser to continue to create new,
fresh advertising. You should do the same!

 Newspapers!
This is a list of magazines and newspapers that run FREE ads. In the
industry, these are known as “Private Party” ads. “Private Party” ads are
FREE ads provided by publications so their readers can “Buy and Sell”.
In these ads, readers buy and sell everything imaginable, both new and
used merchandise.

Designing “Private Party” ads is not much different from traditional ads.
You just don’t want your ad to look too commercial. It’s almost like writing
ads to place on the internet news groups.

The busiest categories with this type of advertising are the “For Sale”
sections. So you want to design your ad in such a way that it fits right in
without looking “commercial”.

Request a copy of each publication you want to advertise in. Before

sending in your ad, you should first review a copy of the publication.
Once you see the layout of the publication and all the many sub-headings
available, you will be more precise when placing your ad. And also,
VERY IMPORTANT:

Publications will change and update their advertising policies frequently.

Getting a current copy of the publication will guarantee that you have their
most up-to-date policies.
