Dear Friends,

I have not been coming to attend classes for the past few days as I needed some time to think about my future. I have decided to quit and try for IIMs next year. Gaining of knowledge was my primary motive in joining a college. I would like to join a college which has a good reputation for teaching and imparting skills.Besides a degree from higher ranked colleges has much greater value in the real world.

Before I say goodbye I want you to know that when people tell you to change your ways, dont. A tiger would not be a tiger if it changes its stripes nor would a leopard be a leopard if it changes its spots. Remember, your career prospects cant be hurt without hurting the academic record of your college. Learn to stand up for yourself and be true to your own highest convictions.

Dear Mr Yogaditya Narottem, First of all , I dont know why is it that just before the end term exam your conviction aroused so strong that instead of preparing you decided to quit. Second of all , a Tiger has his element in him be it the Jungles of Zaire or the Sunder bans Bengal or any animal sanctuary for that matter. Beyond this if you could not explore the knowledge imparted at FORE I doubt the ability of exploring the knowledge imparted even at HBS. Writing such a sorry goodbye mail about FORE is not at all welcomed. Lastly you might be quitting from Fore but here we all take the pride in carrying this FORE brand forward and being the future products of FORE. P.S.: No personal offence meant.

Ms Samidha, I just felt it would be rude to leave without saying goodbye to my friends as I had a great time with them. What I do and feel is no comment on anybody. It was just an explanation of my conduct. I have the utmost respect and affection for my classmates and it was because of them I had a hard time taking this decision. Tarun But what is the point. All this was said to me in another mail. All you did was increase the level of abuses. The majority does not consist of people who speak the most obnoxious. I dont think it is important to you whether I take an exam in a college I dont want to study in, wasting time and efforts.Nor is it important if I make it to a better college or not.Every year many make it to better ranked colleges You agree with me whole heartedly deep inside but are afraid to take the same road. So you hide your head in the sands of invective. Or was it just an infantile attempt at ingratiation. When you fling so much of mud and dirt you are the one that gets dirty for sure. Those who were secure and confident in their decisions encouraged me or did not say a word. So talk about what really bothers you.
