The patented Mapex Isolated Tom Mount System (I.T.S.)
concert toms is the thin 5.1mm shell featuring four outer plies of Maple with two interior plies of Walnut. The combination of this shell with the I.T.S. suspension mounting system and small, single point mounted lugs yields a sound that is warm, open, focused, and musical. Both single and doubleheaded versions are available in eight sizes each, ranging from 6 to 16.

By rising to the challenge of providing pro-level features at a reasonable price, the Mapex Concert series toms set a new benchmark for what should be expected in the school band percussion section. Birch/Maple combination shells feature single screw, low mass lugs and utilize the I.T.S. mounting system to minimize shell contact and maximize tone and resonance. The new Majestic X8540H four octave professional xylophone features graduated bars of select Honduran rosewood and an elegant natural wood frame. The advanced bar production methods employed by this instrument include an extended range of quint tuning and tonally matched wood selection, making it ideal for solo or ensemble performance.
