LOCATION

SHOPS

There is a variety of shops on the nearby roads such as Upper Clapton Road and Lower Clapton Road. There is a local
Sainsbury's store on Upper Clapton Road for all basic needs. Kingsland Shopping Centre on Kingland High Street is the closest
shopping centre which is approximately 20 minutes away.

TRANSPORT
2021 offers an extremely good London location with major road links to the A10, A13 and M25 within easy reach. Clapton
train station is located less than half a mile away with services into Liverpool Street (10 minutes) and out to Chingford and
Hertford. With Stratford’s International Station due for completion in 2007 it will reduce travel times to central London
significantly, which is very important for the 2012 Games. The new station is located near the existing Stratford Station, which
currently has Tube and rail links in and out of the City. The station is on the Channel Tunnel Rail link between St Pancras
Railway Station and Ebbsfleet International Station connecting the UK with Paris, Lille and Brussels in under 2 hours 30
minutes. In preparation for 2012, Hackney will be linked to the tube network for the first time via the extension of the East
London Line, and will have new stations at Dalston, Haggerston, Hoxton and Shoreditch by 2010. Major investment in the
North London Line will bring improved trains and services; this will form part of the new London Overground which will
create an orbital route around the capital and beyond.
