Description

Hasnur Group nowadays implements two silviculture systems, which uses the Indonesian Selective Logging System (TPT) and Selective Logging and Line Planting System (TPTJSILIN). The TPTI is a silvulture system that includes measures to limit logging and forest regeneration in diameter with a series of activities planned in the management of its forests, including logging, rejuvenation, and maintenance to ensure sustainability of forest timber or other forestry products. The Selective Logging and Line Planting System (TPTJ-SILIN) is a Natural Forest Production Management that has now become an alternative forest management system to improve the quality of degrading natural forests through planting without a line system. The diameter limit in cutting is reduced to 40 cm, allowing more timber production per hectare of land. In its CSR activities, the company has performed several forest development activities, which includes the implementation of nursing and purchase of seedling in the Nursery Area at PT. As a seafaring service provider, PT. HIS provides domestic and overseas freight forwarding services. PT HIS is located in various loading and unloading ports both domestic and overseas. PT. HIS is based in Jakarta and has two other branch offices in Banjarmasin and in Sungai Putting, South Kalimantan. PT. HIS targets on becoming a reputable shipping company in the industry, as well as being able to support and haul all of the commodities produced by Hasnur Group, and also to increase the amount of its dock assets. The advantages of PT. HIS in supporting Hasnur Group ventures: it is a supportive Strategic Business Unit (SBU), supporting all of Hasnur Group ventures, especially in maritime freight where it is able to haul quickly and efficiently. The shipping SBU is very unique and one that possess many challenges, such as man power (the special characters portrayed by sailors), as well as third-party relationship with the community, institution and bureaucracy.

In accordance with the Indonesian government policy issued by the Transportation Department to secure the inter-domestic port transportation of 13 commodities by the national fleet, the national shipping companies must cover the commodities below:

Oil and Gas General Cargo Coal Wood Bulled Rice CPO Fertilizer Cement Minerals mining grains Liquid Chemical Cargo Vegetables Fresh Fish

The above commodities are produced by Hasnur Group businesses. Therefore it is imperative to establish a tug boat and barge armada to support said commodities produced by Hasnur Group. Judging also from the maritime freight shipping business, particularly the coal production potential in South Kalimantan, PT. HIS is contributing by operating six sets of tug boats and barges.
