1. Meeting again It seems like only yesterday when the Servant of God was amongst you. From when he was in Africa he has been thinking about the things that he would like to teach you. All this time the Servant of God has been eager to teach you about two things: leaders and leadership.

2. Leaders and leadership If you are wondering why the Servant of God keeps repeating his teachings on the issue of leadership, it is because it is such an important subject. You cannot go anywhere where people function without leadership. But wherever there is leadership, there is also a leader.

3. A leader without a leadership team is a dictator Someone who wants to lead without a leadership team is a dictator. On the other hand, someone once described democracy as leadership without a leader. Is it possible to accomplish anything where there is no leader?

4. There can be no leadership with no leaders. In the military if you fail to have leadership that will be a disaster. Even in business, you need to have leadership. The same applies here at church, where you have the laying on of hands, preparation of prescriptions and so forth. If there is no leadership those things cannot happen. But leadership can only happen if there are leaders.

5. We are all leaders There is no one here who is not a leader. When God created heaven and earth, he looked for a leader to put on the earth. He said I am the leader in heaven, now I need a leader to put on earth. So he said Adam can be the
1

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

leader (Genesis 1 verse 26). We are all leaders on this earth wherever we are. You have all joined the leadership.

6. Leadership begins in the home Leadership begins in the home where the father and mother are the leadership. You must honour your father and your mother they are the people who make up the leadership in the home (Exodus 20 verse 12). But there is also a leader in that home, who is the head of the household.

7. If people are following you, you are a good leader The Servant of God was pleased to see all the people here. He can see that the people do not lack leadership. If there are people following you, that shows the quality of your leadership. If you have someone following you that means there is some degree of admiration of you in that person. But if there is no one following you, that means you have chosen a path that is impossible to follow.

Why do some leaders succeed in leading when others fail? And what makes some people fail to have a following? It is because they have no faith. Christ showed good leadership by encouraging and influencing. You are all leaders in a Godless place. You are the light and the salt of the earth.

8. Christ leads by example Jesus Christ is our leader. He is in full control, but His leadership controls nobody. He has got power, both in heaven and on earth, but he forces nobody. Instead he leads, unlike us who tend to control. He leads by example; he does not lead you along a rocky path, or into the ocean.

Christ led by teaching, by setting an example and through His influence. If He wanted people to pray, He prayed; if He wanted people to dance, He danced; if he wanted people to give, He gave and; if He wanted people to fast, He fasted. When He fasted, he did not ask people to fast as well He simply said Today I am not eating. If Christ wants you to forgive, he forgave first.
2

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

Our leaders of old did not lead us to worship, but Christs leadership was such that He was always the first to pray, to fast and to worship.

9. Do not despair because of backsliders (John 6 verse 2)

Do not despair because you have backsliders. Good leaders do not despair because of backsliders. Jesus never despaired when people were backsliding. At one point he was the leader of a multitude of people (John 6 verse 2). When they were reduced to a crowd, He did not despair (John 6 verse 22); When His followers were reduced to 70, He did not despair; when they were reduced to just twelve, he did not despair (John 6 verse 66). Even when He was left all alone on the cross, it did not bother Him because he was a good leader. Do not despair if no one follows you. Do it again and again.

10.

A good leader leads by example

A good leader is someone who encourages people to fast by fasting himself. He encourages them to complete work and to accomplish. He teaches completion by completing himself. The devil, on the other hand, is a poor leader. He does not do anything to completion.

A person becomes bad from an early age they learn from bad leadership. If their parents do not pray or fast in the home, thats what the children will learn. The only place where you have guaranteed leadership is in your home. You have leadership over your own household. That is where leaders are created, both good and bad.

Children learn to be disrespectful to their mothers from seeing their fathers behave in the same way. If they see their mother being shouted at, they learn to do the same thing.

11.

You must endure before you can enjoy

The reason why Christianity is so enduring is that its leader lived it. Christ lived a full life and suffered and died on the cross. By enduring suffering, He was setting an example. That is called leadership. And that is what the Servant of God would like to see here in Britain. You must follow His example. You must endure before you can enjoy.

12. Who will stand at the ramparts? (Ezekiel 22 verse 30)

God is looking for someone who can build defensive walls and stand at the gaps in the ramparts to defend the land (Ezekiel 22 verse 30). Do you fight for your country? Do you even care? How can you care for others when you do not even care for yourself? If you dont care, how can you prevent people from backsliding? All backsliders do not lack God they lack leadership. They lack someone who will stand at the gaps in the ramparts to defend them (Ezekiel 22 verse 30).

13. Isaac exhibited good leadership at a young age (Genesis 22

verse 7) Leadership is required even from a young age. Isaac displayed good leadership at a young age when he asked his father why they did not have a lamb for the offering to God (Genesis 22 verse 7). He knew what was required by God.

14. Where there is no leadership vision the people perish

(Matthew 22 verse 6) The Holy Spirit is the best influence on leadership. Any leadership without the Holy Spirit is like leadership without vision. Where there is no leadership the people perish (Matthew 22 verse 6). God needs leaders and leadership for his people. Amongst a leadership there is always a leader. But if a leader has no vision or aim, no good can come of his leadership. Nothing will change if leadership is lacking. If you fail to exhibit your good characteristics, you are failing in your leadership. God wants you to give good leadership.

15. For Zions sake, I will not remain silent (Isaiah 62 verse 1).

A leader who cares about Zion will not remain silent, and will not rest until its righteousness shines like dawn, and its salvation burns brightly (Isaiah 62 verse 1). A unilateral declaration of rest is called laziness, and it is influenced by the devil. The devils one aim is to make you fail.

16.

You are here for a reason (I Samuel 17 verse 29)

4

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

Have you ever asked yourself Why did you come here? (I Samuel 17 verse 29). Is it without a cause that you are here in Britain? You are all here for a reason, and good leadership is knowing the reason why you are here.

17.

Who has brought you to Zion?

Two people bring people to Zion. God takes people, one from every city and two from every family, and brings them to Zion (Jeremiah 3 verse 14). Satan, too, brings people to the synagogue (Revelation 3 verse 9). Beware of being in Satans synagogue unless you can prove a reason for being here.

18.

Every good leader is a fighter

Every good leader is a fighter. If you dont fight you are not fit to be a leader. Even laziness has to be fought. Some of you fought against the appetite for drinking beer. You need to keep up the fight because its a good fight. I have fought the good fight, I have completed the race. I have kept my faith (II Timothy 4 verse 7).

You must fight against any desire to steal from God. You can steal from God and expect to get away with it. How can the people be led by someone who steals from God. You must be a good leader who fights greed, selfishness and stinginess.

A poor leader fights against his own leadership. He gives opposition to God in the style of Satan. That is demonic: to oppose all that is from God. Similarly, a leadership that hates the leader is no good.

19. The Holy Spirit makes things happen that seem impossible

Luke 18 verse 27) A good leader is a doer, not merely a hearer. A good leader is an accomplisher, a finisher, a goer. The Holy Spirit makes you accomplish those things that you think are impossible (Luke 18 verse 27). The Holy Spirit makes things possible that are beyond the imagination of human beings. Mary fell pregnant even though she was a virgin. This was the power of the Holy Spirit.
5

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

Christ makes these things happen that seem impossible. We dont use power, we use persuasion, we encourage and we influence with the power of the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4 verse 6). You will be given strength you will be given the power to become Christs witnesses. Do not frighten people. Dont scream and call people to come and join you complaining about how hard things are for you. Christ says learn from my example (Acts 20 verse 35) I am gentle, and my yoke is not heavy (Matthew 11 verse 29). If you cannot say do as I have done, you are not meant to be a leader.

20.

He who has ears let him hear (Matthew 11 verse 15)

He who has ears to hear, let him hear (Matthew 11 verse 15). No miracles can happen when you have no faith. If you have no faith you are all empty vessels. When you have faith, then you can receive the Holy Spirit. When you have the Holy Spirit, you can accomplish things that seem impossible. But what can you do with a person who has no faith? Such a person has ears to wear, not ears to hear. If you do not do what others are doing, you have no faith. Faith comes from hearing, thus if you have ears to hear, you can have faith.

A person with faith is like a person who sees only a showroom but is assured of what is in the warehouse. His faith enables him to see beyond what is physically possible. There are some people who do not believe without seeing. But people with faith do not need to see for them to believe. Faith sees whats in store, what is in the warehouse.

21.

In this city is a Man of God (I Samuel 9 verse 6)

In this city is a man of God, and he is honoured by many people (I Samuel 9 verse 6). How do you know that this is a man of God? Because everything he says is sure to happen ( I Samuel 9 verse 6). He will do what He says. He causes all he said to happen.

22.

Walking in faith

Some people questioned the wisdom of starting construction of Church at the time that we did. It was a very bad time for the economy. Some people
6

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

thought we were mad. But they were walking by sight. We were walking in faith.

23. Without faith it is impossible to have a miracle (Ezekiel 37

verse 1) God says you cannot be a leader if you have no faith. How can you prophesy if you have no faith? And how can you have faith if you do not believe? What are you doing at Zion if you do not believe?

God asked Ezekiel if he believed that the dry bones could live again (Ezekiel 37 verse1). It could not happen if Ezekiel did not believe. For the miracle to happen, he had to have faith. If you have no faith, in the Lord, even if the Elders give you sanctified water, or pray for you with their rods, the miracle will not happen.

Before the bones can become flesh, do you believe that it can happen? Before you can receive blessings, do you believe? Did you believe that the Church can be built to completion? Can you imagine what more could have been accomplished if you had believed it could have been completed even earlier than it was.

24. Whoever knows what is right but does not do it is a sinner (James 4 verse 17) We have come to receive the blood and flesh of the Lord Jesus Christ so that our sins can be washed away. The servant of God has come with the blood of Jesus so that your sins can be washed away. No one should come to Christs table if they have lust in their heart, or drink beer, or have committed other sins. Those are all sins that must be washed away. But the big sin that needs to be washed away is this: because whoever knows what is right but does not do it is sinning (James 4 verse 17). If you know what is right to do, do it.

Every person who hears what is good but does not do it is like a foolish man who built his house on sand (Matthew 6 verse 27). When the rains and the wind and the floods came, the house collapsed and the result was a total disaster. But everyone who hears what is good and obeys it is like a wise
7

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

man who built his house on a rock (Matthew 6 verse 24). That house will withstand any storm.

25.

Beware of false prophets

Be wary of dodgy prophets. You must not follow prophets of no fixed abode. We know exactly who Christ was, and where he came from. He always said I am Jesus of Nazareth.

26. God specialised in delaying

There are two things that God is capable of delaying. God does not want to be delayed. And do not think that you can get away with delaying him. But He specialised in delaying. He specialised in:
i) Delaying to reward Mordecai ii) Delaying to punish Judas

27.

Many have had their reward delayed (Esther 6 verse 1)

There are many who have had their reward delayed by God. When Mordecai defused the plot against the king, he was looking forward to a reward (Esther 2 verse 21). But God delayed. After many years, when Mordecai had forgotten, God rewarded him (Esther 6 verse 1). Judas was punished later, even though he was a thief.

When we first started construction of the Church, a big contribution was asked from you. From the diesel that you bought, the lorries and the tippers, nothing has been forgotten. God has a book of remembrance. This is a book that God keeps to record every good thing that you have done. But God may decide to delay your reward. He is waiting for you to forget because you are human.

28.

God can reward you instantly (II Chronicles 1 verse 11)

8

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

God may decide not to delay your reward, bit to reward you there and then. God decided to reward Solomon instantly. Apart from the wisdom and knowledge that he had requested, he was also rewarded with riches, fortunes and honour (II Chronicles 1 verse 11).

29.

God decides when to punish sinners

If you become silly with God, he might punish you there and then! Ananias and Saphirra plotted to deceive the Lord when they lied about the money that they had pledged from the sale of their farm (Acts 5 verse 1). God punished them immediately.

On the other hand, Judas was stealing from God on a daily basis (John 12 verse 6). He had been entrusted with Gods money but decided to steal it. But God delayed his punishment until after he had betrayed Christ (Matthew 27 verse 5). So can reward and punish, and He has the power to delay both.

30.

You have achieved a great deal

People of Great Britain, you have achieved a great deal. The Servant of God does not know what God would have wanted him to do if you had not been there. What you have achieved is tremendous. The Church that you helped to construct has now been certified a tourist attraction. It is now receiving visitors almost beyond its capacity.

31.

Leadership means love (John 3 verse 16)

To lead is to love. If you cannot love the people you live with, how can you lead them? God loved the world so much that he gave it His only Son so that whoever believes in Him can have eternal life (John 3 verse 16). That is true leadership. Christ also showed true leadership when He said I have not come to be worshipped, but to worship.

32.

Be good doers, as well as good hearers

The Servant of God is pleased as he has been hearing during the Rangarirai wanzwei sessions that you are now good hearers of the Word. But when are you going to become good doers? Being a true doer and a true
9

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

Zionist is being able to love one another that is living in the glory of God. You can never be good leaders, or live in the glory of God if you do not love one another.

33. Worship in the presence of all the people (Psalms 116 verse 18) Do not hide your offerings in envelopes, like the Pharisees. You must keep your vows to the Lord in the presence of all His people (Psalms 116 verse 18). Show those you are teaching what you want them to do. That is leadership (Acts 20 verse 35).

34.

The true miracle of Mbungo

The construction of the Church is now complete. But thats not the miracle. The real miracle is that it is complete and there is not a single debt. No cent was ever received from a donor, and no cent is outstanding. How many have money outstanding on their building projects, or even on their cars?

35. Keep the faith (II Timothy 4 verse 7)

Go now and be good doers. Keep the faith. It is easy to lose your faith in this place where you live. Some of you were raised in the faith; others came into it here. But it is incumbent upon all of you keep the faith. Be like Samuel, who said I have fought the good fight. I have completed the race. I have kept the faith. The reward that shows I have Gods approval is now waiting for me. (II Timothy 4 verse 7).

36.

A fool defends someone who fails to make offerings

A foolish leader will defend a person who has failed to make his offerings to God, making excuses that he has no money, etcetera. That is not defending him, that is killing him! A good defence is to say I will show you how to make offerings, and then show them how to do it. That is good leadership.

37. God has put tabera in your homes

God has declared that tabera is now in your homes. When you are in your homes, teach your children to worship the Lord, to pray, to make offerings
10

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

and to keep the faith. Do not ignore your children. They do not make noise, but their cries are heard by the Lord, as He heard the cries of Ishmael in the desert (Genesis 21 verse 17). God said he had heard the cries of the boy, and He was with him.

Tell your children the truth. Do not let them discover you cheating God. If you teach your children to pray to God, He will hear their prayers. Let the children hear your troubles, let them hear your cries to the Lord. You must teach your children how to love each other.

38. God is responsible for everything that happens to you (Genesis 16 verse 2)

Sarah prayed and she was rewarded with a son. But previously she had known that it was God who had made her incapable of bearing children (Genesis 16 verse 2). If anything happens to you do not blame anybody else. It is God who is responsible for everything that happens to you.

39. God has handpicked you to draw people to Zion (Matthew 4

verse 19) Christ says I have handpicked you to draw people to attend Zion. He has picked you to make you missionaries to make you not the fish but the fishers of men (Matthew 4 verse 19). Christ picked you to make you leaders, not followers. You are missionaries in Europe. Once upon a time there were missionaries in Africa from Europe.

The people should see your love for one another, and they will follow your example. But if you do not love one another how do you expect to draw people to Zion? The backsliders did not do so because of anything you did to them. But the day you started gossiping and showing your hatred of each other, thats the last you saw of them.

11

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

40. A Tabera of fools

There was once a tabera in the home but it was made up of fools. There was no one more righteous than Job. But in his household was an unrighteous woman. Not only that, but he had seven unrighteous sons. All they did was have drunken parties (Job 1 verse 4). Job kept cleansing after each drunken party, but they would go back to their drunken ways (Job 1 verse 5).

What did God do with this unrighteous tabera? The whole family was a rightoff. They all perished (Job 1 verse 19) and Job was given a new family who did not need to be cleansed all the time.

41.

Only the blessings of the Lord will make you prosperous

You cannot become prosperous from running after shifts. Thats foolishness. Only the blessings of the Lord will make you prosperous (Proverbs 10 verse 22). Do not run from God. You are conceived of the blessings of God. Do not run like Hagar, who was unaware she was conceived of the blessings of God (Genesis 16 verse 9-11).

42.

Leadership means being first all the time

There is nothing more exciting for a leader than to be first all the time. In fact, that is the very definition of leadership it means being first all the time. A leader must always be the first to do something, and the rest of the people can follow.

Being last to do something is not leadership; it is being led. If you are first, you are leading, and if you are last you are being led. As a leader, nobody needs to tell you that you have failed. You know yourself that you have failed if you are always being led.

43.

You cannot be a coach if you have never played football

Have you ever seen a football coach who has never played football? You cannot be a coach from just reading books on coaching but never having kicked a ball in your life. You need to have experience of having actually played football. If you are a leader, can you lead people in doing things that
12

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

you have never done yourself? You must lead by example, by demonstrating what you want those following you to do.

There is no better way to teach somebody than to first do it yourself. You cannot be led by someone who asks for directions while he is leading you. Dont be a coach who does not know how to play football. The best coach was Jesus He did not teach by just explaining but by setting an example. He said Come to me because my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11 verse 28).

44. A good leader must be like a mudhumeni

A good leader must be like a mudhumeni. Many people do not know the origin of the word mudhumeni. It is from the English word demonstrator. The mudhumeni was an agricultural demonstrator. His job was to demonstrate to farmers how best to make use of the land. He did it by setting an example for them to follow. You cannot be a demonstrator if you cannot demonstrate. You must lead by example. As a leader, you must demonstrate how to worship God, how to pray and how to make offerings to Him.

45. God would rather have a doer than a good speaker (Exodus 4

verse 10) God is not looking for good speakers to be leaders of His people. He would rather have stammerers who are good doers than good speakers who are bad doers. At the recent funeral of the late General Solomon Mujuru, we were told of his many heroic qualities. What a stammerer but what a great strategist! He was an actor, a doer. He was very important in leading the liberation war effort, and then in integrating many different armies into one and leading it.

Never in history has God looked for good speakers, but for good doers. Moses was not an orator, but he was a doer. He was a very bad stammerer, but God chose him to be the leader of His people (Exodus 4 verse 10).

46.

Be a doer, not a talker

13

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

Do not show off with things that are not worth showing off. Do not show off with being a good speaker if you are not a doer. Be like Elder Mada, who is a stammerer, but what an actor, a doer. Be like Minister Chabikwa. He is a doer. People are being baptised in London, and the work of the Lord is being done by a capable leader. But he is very quiet. He is not a speaker but a doer. So do not mock stammerers.

Do not be pleased with yourself because you can speak, but be a doer. If you are a leader, do not be behave like a follower. There are some leaders who still do not know the meaning of tithing, or its importance. They are still following. Instead, go and be doers, then you will be good leaders.

47.

Leaders must lead from the front

The Servant of God is always impressed with the Roman Catholic Church. While many churches are in decline, it is not declining. The reason why it remains strong is that its leaders lead from the front. They do not let their followers go down the wrong path, because they demonstrate the correct path themselves. In everything they do, the leader is always the first to do it. When they celebrate Mass, it is the leader who is always in the lead, and the rest follow.

48.

Satanic phrases

Do you know that there are some Satanic phrases that people accept and use everyday? These phrases are influenced by Satan, who wants to encourage you to be satisfied with an inferior accomplishment, instead of being a true leader. Some of these phrases include: i) Half a loaf is better nothing Why would you be satisfied with half a loaf when you can have a whole one if you wanted it?
ii) Yatsika musheche yamwa Would you let your livestock go thirsty just

because they have set foot on the riverbed when in fact they havent drank any water? iii) Better late than never But why should you be late at all? Why not strive to always be punctual and demonstrate that you are a good leader?
14

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

iv) Gengezha mukombe hazvienzani nekumwira mugapu Why should

you settle for an inferior product when you can work hard and get the real article? All these are Satanic phrases which try to fool you into settling for less than you are capable of achieving. There is nothing better than a finished article, so dont settle for less. A miss is as good as a mile.

49. With faith, all things are possible (Mark 9 verse 23)

Can you imagine what would be possible if you have faith? With faith anything is possible (Mark 9 verse 23). But you have to believe. How can you achieve that which you do not believe in? If you want to have three Mercedes Benz, one for yourself, one for your wife and one for your child, you must have faith that you will achieve it. God will not do for you that which you do not believe in. When you sing Handidi kudzokera kumba ndisina chandakabata, you must believe that you can achieve what you want. Dont just sing it, believe it.

50. I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessings

(Malachi 3 verse 10) God says Test me in this way, and see if I wont open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessings (Malachi 3 verse 10). Some people did not know that the heavens have windows. They only realised this when God opened them during the time of Noah and flooded the earth. But for us God will not flood us with water, but with blessings.

If you do not believe that the heavens have windows, why do you waste your time coming here? How can you tell people about what you do not believe in? You still doubt that God will open the windows of heaven and bless you. God will open the windows of heaven for those who believe. For those who have faith there shall be showers of blessings (Ezekiel 34 verse 26).

51.

God is jealous about Zion (Zechariah 8 verse 1)

God says I am jealous about Zion. I am fiercely possessive of it (Zechariah 8 verse 1). But what if you are led by someone who is not jealous about Zion. There is no greater danger than being led by a leader who is not jealous about Zion. Some people are in Zion, but Zion is not in them. They
15

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

are not jealous about Zion because they do not love it. It is impossible to be jealous about something you do not love. How can you claim to love Zion if you are not jealous about it? How can you rest when Zion needs you? (Isaiah 62 verse 1) The owner of Zion does not rest,so why do you want to rest?

If you make offerings to the Lord, but also to other gods, that means you are not jealous about God. Even Naaman, a heathen from Syria, vowed never again to make offerings to any other gods but the Lord (II Kings 5 verse 17) because he had seen the greatness of our God.

52. Pray for the 18 who have not yet received their papers

There are still 18 people amongst us who have not yet received their papers. Each person will have these names when reading from the Tabakoni. The Servant of God says when you call upon the Lord, each one of you must mention these people by name, and pray for their papers to be delivered.

These people are: Arlington Chiweshe Hartlepool; Isheanesu Chiweshe Hartlepool; Wolverhampton; Mavhu Chinyani Manchester; Sharon Kangara Liverpool; Tinotenda Muvirimi Liverpool; Netsai Ngara Leeds; Brian Tairodza Slough; Mary Mhlanga Northampton; Lisa Mutendi Scotland; Shupikai Mbizvo Hartlepool; Tamary Manyeruke Elizabeth Tandi Birmingham; Mitchell Chirunga Liverpool; Deline Mutendi London; Pauline Chida Birmingham; Farai Matekenya Birmingham; Nyasha Shava Scotland; Leon Zhuwao Luton.

53. The prayer of a righteous person has power (James 5 verse 16)
16

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

When you call upon the Lord, remember that the prayer of a righteous man has power (James 5 verse 16). It can accomplish a lot. But the unrighteous must not call on the Lord with these names. There are some people whose prayers are like a jangling noise to God. The prayer of someone who refuses to obey the Word of God is disgusting and irritating to him (Proverbs 28 verse 9).

54. Any problem is an appointment with God (Psalms 91 verse 15) The people who have not been given their papers are the people who are in problems. We must now call upon the Lord so that He can rescue them (Psalms 50 verse 14). Any problem is an appointment with God (Psalms 91 verse 15). We must now make an appointment with God. But anyone who calls upon the Lord must do so with a clean heart.

There are some problems that are made so we can call upon the Lord. The Lord desires to be called upon (Psalms 91 verse 15). But he does not want to be called upon by the unrighteous (Proverbs 28 verse 9). If there is anyone we suspect might spoil our prayers, we will not invite them to call on the Lord.

55. Be wary of phantoms (magoritoto) at Zion

There are many phantoms here at Zion. You can see them physically, but they are not capable of carrying a burden, or doing a good deed. They wear a badge like anyone else, and they can quote verses from the Bible. But the moment you mention making offerings to God, thats when you catch them out and reveal them for what they really are.

56.

Faith without deeds is worthless (James 2 verse 20)

What good does it do if someone claims to have faith but does not do any good deeds? You should know that faith without deeds is worthless (James 2 verse 20). How else can you prove your faith, except through your actions? (James 2 verse 18)

17

Tabakoni Peterborough 26-28 August 2011

57. When you call, He will answer (Psalms 91 verse 15)

God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23 verse 19). When He says Call to me, and I will answer, He means it (Psalms 91 verse 15). Gods answer is not necessarily always a positive one. If He says No, is that not an answer. And sometimes God can delay his answer. When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were in trouble, He answered, but He delayed making an appearance (Daniel 3 verse 13).

When these young men were arrested by the kings strongest guards, God delayed showing up. When they were dragged to a pit of fire, no one showed up. When they were thrown in, no one showed up. Only when they had landed in the pit did an angel of the Lord appear in their midst (Daniel 3 verse 25). God will fight on your behalf if you call upon him. He will save you and honour you (Psalms 91 verse 15).

58. The Lord will honour those who honour Him (I Samuel 2 verse 30)

Nothing feels better than being honoured by God. God promised that He would honour those who honour Him, but also that He would despise those who despise Him (I Samuel 2 verse 30). It feels nice to be honoured by your wife. But the Servant of God says he has no desire to be honoured by his wife if he is not also honoured by God.

Whoever wants to be honoured by God must do as His Word commands. You do not have to spend all night on the mountain to be honoured by Him. If the Word of God does not depart your lips, you are honouring Him, and He will honour you. Do not be a fool like Nabal, who started a feud with someone who was honoured by God (I Samuel 25 verse 10). If you start a feud, make sure it is with somebody who is not honoured by God.

God says if someone honours my word, then I will honour him. But anyone who despises His Word, God will despise him (I Samuel 2 verse 30). What does it mean to despise God? If you know those things that God has made His commandments, and you dont take them seriously, that is despising Him. And then you want Him to honour you? When you sing, pray, preach and prophesy, you must do it in a way that honours God. If you do not do it in a way that honours Him, He will despise you.
