GUIDE TO TAKING DIAGNOSTIC TESTS

Dear applicant:

We recommend that, before taking the exams, you review the following aspects that will
help you avoid inconveniences during the exams.

Considerations when answering the exam

1. The exams are solved individually.

2. It is prohibited to copy and/or print the exam screens through any electronic or
manual means.
3. Applicants must adhere to the time stipulated for taking the exam, so that any
answer they enter after the designated time has expired will not be recorded.
4. If for any reason you exit the exam incorrectly, the system will not allow you to
continue with the attempt and will return your grade considering only the answers
you have selected up to that point.
5. Applicants must punctually follow the instructions indicated on the exam screen,
since, if the established procedures are not followed, problems could arise that
affect their performance in the exam.
6. It is important to answer all questions; Do not dwell too much on those that seem
particularly difficult to you, continue with the exam and before finishing, try to
answer them. Remember that it is a diagnostic test to determine your intellectual
potential and improve the quality of your learning.
7. Solve the exams well in advance, do not leave them until the last moments before
closing time.
8. If any incident occurs, the corresponding report must be sent to the following email:
evaaprendizaje@unadmexico.mx , to request a timely review of the case.

 9. Remember that to respond to any request you send, it is necessary to include the
following information in your message:

• Full name
• Classroom
• Folio number
• Exam completion date
• Brief description of the problem or situation being reported.

Procedure for taking the exam

Before reviewing the procedure, consider the following:

> You have 120 minutes to solve each exam, a period that starts counting from the
moment you open it, so in the upper left corner of the screen a clock is shown that
indicates how much time remains in the session.
> We suggest you save your answers as you solve it.
> Before opening the exam, try to have the appropriate conditions both in technical
and connection aspects and in any other type, so that you do not get distracted or
have to interrupt this activity, since once the time has run out, it will not be possible
to open the exam. exam again.

Now we will show you the procedure that you must follow when you answer the exam.
1. Enter the portal of the Open and Distance University of Mexico.
2. Log in with your folio number and your UnADM password.
3. You will find two exams: Mathematical Skills and Reading Comprehension and
Writing.
4. Click on the link for the exam you want to take .
5. Carefully read the instructions and details that appear in the dialog box that says:
“This quiz is restricted to a single attempt. Access to the questionnaire will be
counted as one attempt. Do you wish to continue?".

6. When you decide to take the exam, click the OK label in the dialog box.
7. Read each of the exam questions carefully and begin to answer them. Once you
have answered all the exam questions, click the Submit all and finish button.
8. Carefully read the details of the dialog box that says: “You are about to close this
attempt. Once you close it, you won’t be able to change your answers.” Click the
button labeled OK .
