Introduction

The company is defined as a social organization that covers some needs of the
community for goods or services, also providing a source of employment and
contributing to the country's economy. They are important since we need its
production, whether it is national, international or multinational, for better
functioning and increased profitability it must have organization, administration,
and other departments or functional areas.
To do this, we must classify the company according to its size, public or private,
type of organization, among other characteristics. All this information is important
to know what type of company we are dealing with, service, products, raw
materials, when requesting credits, tenders, prices to suppliers, among others.
The classification of the company is of great importance, which is why we will
analyze a company and its internal problems to find solutions and improve its
profitability, identifying the root problems.

Hermanos Lara LTDA company case

The family business Hermanos Lara Limitada, dedicated to the wholesale sale of
pet food, has its Headquarters and Central Warehouse in an industrial sector in the
western sector of Santiago. As a limited liability company, it has 2 owners, the Lara
brothers, and has a Share Capital of $10,000,000, which was disbursed by its
owners. In the last two years the Company has grown on average 10% annually,
which is why Ms. Emilia Muñoz was hired in the Human Resources area to be in
charge of putting together the organizational structure of the Company, the hiring
and the hierarchical order of the different departments of the Company. Launching
your function collects the following information about the Company:
 The Company, as a limited liability company, has a General Manager, a task
that is carried out by Mr. Samuel Lara.
 It currently has 5 departments: Commercial – Administration and Finance –
Marketing and Advertising – Supply and Human Resources, each of them
led by a Manager.
 The Supply department is divided into 4 sections: Acquisitions – Warehouse
– Transportation – Logistics, each with its respective headquarters.
 The Commercial department has divided Santiago into 4 groups: North,
South, East and West, each of them with a manager in charge.
 The Human Resources department, which is led by Emilia Muñoz, has a
person in charge of hiring and another person in charge of remuneration.
 The Administration and Finance department is made up of a Lawyer in
charge of reviewing legal documents, a head of accounting, an accounting
manager, and a billing and payment manager.
 A few months ago, Channel 13 news carried out a report about a salesman
from our Company who sold bags of adulterated pet food, mixing a better
quality food with a lower priced one, which generated a notable drop in the
demand for his products. products.

would you classify the Hermanos Lara company? Provide 3 arguments that
support your classification

1.-It is a small company, since it has 6 to 50 workers and its capital and income
are small. In this case, the Lara brothers' company has a total of 17 workers.
2.- It is a private company, since the capital in this case belongs to the Lara
brothers. Therefore, its capital is private.
3.- It is a local company, since its activities are carried out in a lower geographic
range, within the town. (Only in the city of Santiago).

Since the real reason for this bad practice on the part of the worker is unknown and
seeing that it has generated bad publicity and distrust towards the company, the
logical thing would be to separate the worker or workers responsible for them and
have a meeting with the manager and deputy head of the related area.
Also if necessary, depending on the results of the investigation, terminate dealings
with the company that sells the products.

3.- WORKER TRAINING


In order to re-instill the values and vision of the company, it would be good to do
regular training as well as meetings with managers and sub-heads of areas to
follow the work within the company in more detail to avoid this problem and detect
others that need prompt intervention.

working.

invitations or prizes for loyalty to the company, in addition to contests for the
general public. This is in order for the public to trust again in the products that the
company sells, in addition to returning to the place it had before in the community,
either as a company or trusted entity.
