Cartan Tours Event Ticket Terms & Conditions London 2012 Olympic Games

The following terms and conditions for ordering event tickets are put forth by Cartan Tours and are in accordance with regulations set forth by the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG). By submitting your order on-line or by completing the Event Ticket Order Form you are agreeing to the Event Ticket Terms & Conditions. Use of tickets for promotional purposes for any third party, product or service, including contests or for the intent of re-sale, is strictly prohibited. Cartan reserves the right to refuse to supply the tickets and cannot be held liable to make any refunds. Further, Cartan cannot be held liable for any out of pocket expenses that may be incurred by a third party that seeks to undertake an unauthorized promotion, but is subsequently forced to cancel the said promotion if Cartan refuses to supply the tickets. Full payment for tickets must be sent with the Ticket Request Form. No ticket request can be processed without full payment having been received and without a signature stating that these Ticket Request Conditions have been read and accepted. Due to stadium capacities and the limited number of tickets allocated to the Official Ticket and Tour Operators worldwide, it is likely that tickets for certain prime events, such as the Ceremonies, Gymnastics, Swimming and the key finals will probably be oversubscribed. If an event is oversubscribed, Cartan Tours will distribute the available tickets on a random selection process among those clients qualifying to request tickets for that allocation. All ticket requests received by April 30, 2011 will be weighed equally as a group and given first priority in the ticket selection process. When Cartan Tours confirms event tickets in June 2011, these ticket requests will be fulfilled first using a random, computerized selection process. You have the best chance of getting the event tickets you want if your order is in this group. You will receive confirmation of the tickets we were able to confirm for you within 15 days of the allocation.

All ticket requests received between May 1, 2011 and September 30, 2011 will be prioritized by month received and each month's requests will be weighted equally as a group in the ticket select process to occur October 2011. All ticket requests received between October 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 will be prioritized by month received and each month's requests will be weighted equally as a group in the ticket selection process to occur January 2012. Example: Ticket requests received in May will be priority over requests received in June and so forth. When Cartan confirms event tickets in October 2011 and January 2012, these ticket requests will be processed by month received, using a random computerized selection process. You will receive confirmation of the tickets we were able to confirm for you within 15 days of the allocation. All ticket requests received after January 1, 2012 will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive confirmation of the tickets we were able to confirm for you within 15 days after we receive your request. Cancellation of complete ticket orders must be sent to Cartan by registered mail no later than April 20, 2011. Your refund will be issued minus a $65 processing fee. For requests received after April 20, 2011, no refunds will be made except in the situations specified below. If you receive confirmation of 20% or less of your total ticket order, you may request a refund of your complete ticket order, minus the $65 processing fee. Such cancellations must be requested in writing by registered mail no later than 15 days after confirmation. Ticket requests submitted after January 1, 2012 may not be cancelled or refunded, regardless of the percentage confirmed. LOCOG reserves the right to make alterations to the event schedule and/or content of individual sports sessions at its exclusive direction and without notice. No refunds will be provided if the content of a sports session is altered and the spectator no longer wishes to attend. LOCOG also reserves the right to alter, without refund, the seating/spectator arrangements at individual venues without prior notice.

Should LOCOG cancel any event and offer a refund on applicable tickets to Cartan, this refunded amount (face value of the ticket) will be extended to the purchaser. Schedule and venue changes are not considered cancellations, therefore no refund will be allowed. Cartan cannot be responsible for schedule changes or missed events. For tickets processed on the same order form, every effort will be made to have your party seated together. However, seat assignments cannot be guaranteed either by location in the venue, nor for members traveling together. Seat locations will not be known in advance. Cartan assumes no responsibility for lost or destroyed tickets. Note that lost or destroyed tickets are not replaceable. Tickets in their entirety must be presented in good condition for entry to all events. Ticket prices listed on Cartan's website and in the brochure are more than what is available on the LOCOG website to residents of the United Kingdom and European Union/European Economic Area Member Countries. Ticket prices are established by LOCOG and converted from GBP to US Dollars at a fixed exchange rate and are inclusive of handling fees. LOCOG permits Authorized Ticket Reseller's to charge a 20% processing fee for each ticket up to a capped amount of 40 per ticket. Cartan Tours is required by LOCOG and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to provide the name and address details of all ticket purchasers. LOCOG ensures that this information will not be made available to other parties and will be treated confidentially. Each ticket holder will only be allowed one entrance per ticket. If the ticket holder leaves the stadium or venue for any reason, the same ticket may not be used to re-enter the stadium or venue. Tickets are sold fully in accordance with the conditions established by LOCOG and the IOC. By submitting an application the ticket buyer acknowledges that they have read and accept the Terms and Conditions associated with the purchase of event tickets.
