Mikes class was offered through Cerro Coso for many

Studio Tour 2011. For artists
and guests who have partici-
pated in the past you know
what a positive event this is for
our community and for the
artists. For those of you who
have held back, well, just do it!
Now is the time to experience
the talents, studios and creativ-
ity of our local artists ! This is
a wonderful event that allows
local artists to receive recogni-
tion and be a part of an experi-
ence that celebrates them, their
work and the places where
their imagination takes form.
The Tour will be held on the
weekend of October 22 & 23,
2011. Tickets are now on sale
at the Museum for $15 ea.
Basically, you buy a ticket and
also receive a map that shows
where the studios are and who
is showing their work at the
studio. You drive around at
your leisure to visit the artists'
studios during the hours of
10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each
day.. Each artist will have an
art piece for sale in the month-
long Open Studio Tour Exhibit
in the Maturango Museum's

celebrate Veterans Day with a parade honoring our war fighters
- peace keepers and their families.
There are many events but not a parade involving all of us

honor these individuals past and present.
We will line up on Las Flores march to Norma head south
to Ridgecrest Blvd. and east to Balsam Street north to Las Flo-
res. We will line up at 9am and begin at 9:30am.
We have some floats already, the American Legion, V.F.W.,
and C.P.O. group plus some individuals and other organizations.
We are grateful for all, so far. You, too, are much needed and very
welcomed.
