Offering last week was $3,328.52. Attendance last week was 115. Oct. 9, Sun. 7 p.m.-ACTION Impact Missions, the parent ministry of the local Drama Ministry, is bringing a group to our area in preparation for outreach ministry. They are a Christian youth discipleship ministry that uses mime to portray the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and they will be sharing at our church. Come and invite others. A light snack will follow the service. Oct. 9, Sun.- The Youth will be going to the Corn Maze at Oregon Dairy. Oct. 9, Sun.-Gap Male Chorus at Friendship United Methodist Church, 7 p.m. Oct. 10, Mon.-Ministry Team Meeting, 6 p.m., Board of Elders Meeting at 7 p.m. Thanks for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement,

suggestions, etc. for our church, please share them with the ministry team. Your input is welcomed. Oct. 12, Wed.-JGA will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church 7-8:30 p.m. They will be knotting comforters for MCC. JBA and Jr. Youth will be going to Mast Corn Maze. They will be leaving from the church at 6:30 p.m. and return at 8:30 p.m. Jr. Youth - please bring $5 to cover admission costs. Oct. 14, 15, & 16, Fri. & Sat.7 p.m. & Sun. 10 a.m.- We invite your prayers and participation in our church's annual Spiritual Renewal Services. This year our resource person is David Eshleman, who has served as a church consultant for Lancaster Mennonite Conference and EMM. A snack will follow the Fri. & Sat. services. Sun., Oct 16, the Youth Group will provide a lunch as a fund raiser. Oct. 16, Sun.-at 1 p.m. is the CROP Walk. Sponsor sheets are located in the Narthex. Ask your family and friends to sponsor you as you walk to end hunger one step at a time. Join us for a fun afternoon! Oct. 22, Sat.-Take your family back in time. See inside an old mill, a former senator's home and four other historic sites near the 1719 Hans Herr House, and do it at your own pace and in your own car. Historic Driving Tour from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tours start at the Hans Herr House. Go to www.hansherr.org for details. Oct. 29. Sat.-Trade Halloween scares for some old-school fun: square dancing, music, food, seasonal games and a bonfire at the Hans Herr House, 7-10 p.m. Perfect for youth groups, couples and singles. $5 per person; $4 per person for groups of 10 or more who call in advance:464-4438 or email info@hansherr.org. Oct. 30, Sun.- Luncheon meeting for all mentors/mentees after worship services. Oct. 30, Fri.- Junior Youth Group here at the church at 7 p.m. Nov. 12, Sat.-Interested in spending a day in New York City but not interested in driving there? Here is your chance to sit back and relax while someone else does the driving! Hinkletown Mennonite School is sponsoring a trip to NYC. Dec. 5 & 6, Mon. & Tues.-You are invited to attend the Old Fashioned Christmas Carol Singings at 7 p.m. in the Alleghany Mennonite Meetinghouse. James Martin will be the song leader. Contact Grace Sensenig (336-0009) to reserve free tickets. -The God Provides series for Sunday school ends this week. Next week will start a series called Doing the right thing by Chuck Colson of Break point. It focuses on ethics in America, it is taped in Princeton College with a panel of mostly professors discussing the topics, then answering students questions.
