Sub: For conducting the Annual Computer Examination 2007.

The Annual Computer examination 2007 has to taken from all the students of ICT
Schools (Punjab) of Phase-1 & Phase-II. The date for conducting Annual computer
examination of all the classes from 6th to 12th in all the schools covered under Phase-I &
Phase-II of ICT Project is fixed on 2nd March, 2007. The Computer Theory Paper will be
given to all the ICT Coordinators from the Head Office. The Theory Paper is of 60 Marks
and is of 2 hours duration. The Computer Practical may be started in 2nd week of
February and the date of starting the Computer Practical may be fixed district wise by
DEO (SE) of the concerned district and should be intimated to Head Office. The Practical
Exam should be of 40 Marks and one hour duration and may be fixed by Computer
Faculties/Teachers of the concerned school. Class wise CD of Practical work should be
made & maintained by concerned Computer Faculty/teacher. The printing of Question
paper may be done at district level and for that ICT contingency funds may be utilized.
The checking of Question Papers and the preparation of result has to be done by
Computer Teacher/Faculty of the schools. The grade wise result has to be incorporated in
the Mark sheet of students of Class 6th, 7th, 9th, 11th. The allocation of grade would be as
per following criteria.
Grade Percentage Of Marks
A >=80%
B >=60%
C >=40%
D <40%
And for the Board Classes i.e. Class 8 , 10 & 12th grades would be incorporated by

Instruction for preparing Result CDs:

1. All the files must be in MS-Excel Sheet.
2. Only one CD will be prepared for one school having result of all the classes (8th,
10th & 12th).
3. Mention the name of school and “Board Result of Computer Examination of 8th,
10th & 12th 2007” on CD.
4. CD must be kept in plastic CD Case to avoid any type of damages.
5. Hardcopies of all the Results duly signed by Principal/Headmaster of school in
one file for all the classes.
6. Board Roll No must be in serial order.
7. Format of Result will be sent soon before theory exam.
8. Hard & Soft copy of Results should send to ICT Deptt, O/o DEO (SE),
Kapurthala strictly by 7th March 2007.
Copy forward to all the Principal/ Headmasters GSSS / GHS, District Kapurthala for
necessary actions.

9. Practical exam must be conducted between 15feb, 2007 to 24feb, 2007 in distt
Kapurthala.
