Bocatot , Jr. City Building Official Science City of Muoz Building Permit- a document issued by the Building Official to an owner/ applicant to proceed with the construction, installation, addition, alteration, renovation, conversion, repair, moving, demolition, or other work activity of a specific project/ building/ structure/ or portion thereof after the accompanying principal plans, specification and other pertinent documents with the duly notarized application are found satisfactory and substantially conforming with the National building Code of the Philippines and its Implementing rules and Regulation. Rule II Administration and Enforcement Section 209, Exemption public building and traditional family dwellings shall be exempts from payment of building permit fees. The term traditional indigenous

family dwelling means constructed of native materials such as bamboo, nipa, logs, lumber, the total cost of which does not exceed 15,000 pesos. Section 213, Penal Provisions it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy, or maintain any building or structure or cause the same to be done contrary to or in violation of any provision of the code. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provision of the code and/ or commit any act hereby declared to be unlawful shall upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than 20,000 pesos or by imprisonment of not more than 2 years or by both fine and imprisonment; provided that in case of corporation firm, partnership or association, the penalty shall be imposed upon officials responsible for such violation and in case the guilty party is an alien, he shall immediately be deported after payment of the fine and/or service of his sentence. RULE III Permit and Inspection Section 301 (2), Permits supplementary to a building shall be applied for and issued by the Building Official. These include Ancillary and Accessory Permits. A.) Ancillary Permit- signed and sealed by the corresponding professionals and the plans and specification shall be submitted together with the duly notarized application for Buildings Permits. The ancillary permits are the ff: i.) Architectural Permit ii.) Civil or Structural Permit iii.)Electrical Permit iv.)Mechanical Permit v.) Sanitary Permit vi.)Plumbing Permit vii.) Electronics Permit B.) Accessory Permit parts of the project with very special functions or used which are indicated in the plans and specification. This include among others, ground preparation and excavation, encroachment of the foundation to public area, fencing, sidewalk, temporary sidewalk enclosure and occupancy, erection of scaffoldings, erecting, repair, removal of sign and demolition Section 302 Application for Permits any person desiring to obtain a building permit or any ancillary or accessory permit together with a Building Permit shall file applications therefore on the prescribed application form. The following documents shall be submitted as requirements: A.) Lot Ownership Documents i.) In case the applicant is the registered owner of the lot: 1.) Land Title OCT/TCT 2.) Tax Declaration 3.) Current Real Property Tax Receipt ii.) In case the applicant is not the registered owner of the lot: 1.) Duly notarized copy of the Contract of Lease or Deed of absolute sale

Architect, in case of architectural interior/exterior design documents c. Civil Engineer, in case of civil/structural design d. Electrical Engineer, in case of electrical documents e. Mechanical Engineer, in case of mechanical documents f. Sanitary Engineer, in case of sanitary documents g. Master Plumber, in case of plumbing documents h. Electronics Engineer, in case of electronics documents C.) Other related documents: a.) Detail design of major architectural interior and exterior elements b.) List of materials used and cost estimate c.) Structural analysis and design d.) General notes and specifications for electrical Rule VII Classification and General Requirements of all buildings by Use or Occupancy Section 701, Occupancy Classified- there are 10 groups of Occupancy subdivided into 25 divisions Buildings proposed for construction shall be identified according to their use or the character of its occupancy i.
