ISAIAH 9 v 6 ; And unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of peace . This is the Son of God, part of the Godhead, He was crucified on Calvary's Cross to pay the price required for our redemption from the bondage of satan ..It is Jesus Christ who is able to reconcile us to God. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. ACTS 4 v 20; Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved . ISAIAH 53 V 1-12 ; (4-5,) Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows, yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed . 2 TIMOTHY 1 v 12 ...Nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know who I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day . Repentance of our sins, a turning away from them and seeking to do that which God requires of us, which is written in the Scriptures. The Lord becomes our new master instead of satan. PSALM 103 v 12 . As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us . So we ask Jesus to take control of our lives and then, guided by his Holy Spirit, we seek His teachings. ACTS 2 v 21. The Christian will be caught up in the rapture and taken up to heaven to be presented to God and take part in the marriage supper of the Lamb .We will have new resurrection bodies and we will worship God as never before, clothed in robes of righteousness. ISAIAH 26 v 3 ; You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You . Jesus takes away our fears, and in times of tribulation gives us peace and wisdom. As we get to know Him better through the help of the Holy Spirit's teaching, and in prayer and worship, so we will know that He is able to do all that He said he would, to the uttermost . PSALM 86 v 12-13 ; I will praise you O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name for ever. For great is Your mercy toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the lowest hell . God Has given us a free will to serve Him or satan but the rewards are vastly different. John 5 v 28-29 Marvel not at this for the hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth, they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation . JOSHUA 24 v 15 ;And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom you will serve , whether the gods your fathers served on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. If you tread the road to hell, you will surely get there. ROMANS 1 v 28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge , God gave them over to a reprobate mind , to do those things which are not convenient. v 32 Who knowing the judgement of God that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them . It seems that these warnings are often not enough to make the sinner change his way of life for that which God offers the repentant sinner. ROMANS 4 v 20-21 ; He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith giving glory to God . And being fully persuaded that what He had promised He was able to perform. PARTITION ; Seeing He Ever Liveth. Only Jesus can separate us from the evil that displeases God, The call from God is that He wants us to separate ourselves from those evil things that displease Him. If any man's work abide which he has built there upon , he shall receive a reward . If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss but he himself shall be saved yet so as by fire. ROMANS 8 v 27, And He that searches the hearts knows what is in the mind of the Spirit because He makes intercession for the saints according to His purpose. Let us show by our faith in God that with His help we can overcome the temptation of satan that our Christian character may receive no criticism form our neighbours.
