Purpose: To oversee all aspects of Co-op operations to meet organizational Ends established by the Board of Directors while remaining within Board defined limits and aligned with the Co-ops mission statement. Status: Full-time, salaried management position that reports to the Board. Supervises: Directly: Store Manager, Education and Outreach Department Managers, and all administrative staff Indirectly: All personnel
Help evaluate and identify customer service needs Assist with developing and providing necessary training to reach customer service standards
Human Resources Help identify and then ensure organizational training needs are met Help develop and oversee a system to insure that all new staff have been through the orientation process Help develop and maintain a system of staff feedback designed to facilitate communication within and among departments Participate in direct one on one performance feedback with supervisors and staff as necessary Help facilitate the flow of information among staff Safety Work to ensure that all staff are trained in and follow all organizational safety procedures and guidelines Board Relationship Demonstrate a reasonable interpretation of Board Policy Ensure the organization remains within Board Policy Monitor policies in a timely fashion as required and defined by the Board of Directors Remain at all times within the Board stated Executive Limitations Work to achieve Board stated organizational Ends Policies Other Perform other duties as assigned by the Board
