BI Apps 7.9.6.x is upgradeable to OBI EE 11g with the 11.1.1.3 release, but a number of known issues have been identified and are discussed in the product documentation. Customers should proceed with caution. Upgrade of BI Apps will still require manual work to complete

Oracle to provide documentation of rough scoping of manual fixes and costing of upgrade to customers

BI Apps 7.9.6.x still requires OBIEE 10g for installation

Upcoming BI Apps 11g and BI Apps 11g PS1 will uptake OBIEE 11g features
