Moved the patient or injured person to a more comfortable location. Loosen tight clothing and calm the patient. Apply first aid or seek medical assistance if necessary. 48. What immediate action should be made upon discovering the fire? Ans. Crew who discover an outbreak of fire must raise the alarm. If fire is in enclosed room keep the door closed until sufficient assistance arrived. If fire is in accessible areas use appropriate fire fighting equipment when available.
