A little hotel called Hotel Tournier, and its renowned bar LEquipe, founded by Joseph Alexander Tournier in the 50s, in the historical center of Courchevel. Ten years ago, Josephs oldest son, Eric undertook the renovation of the hotel, creating a mansion unique to the Alps. Eric Tournier wanted his hotel to feel like a home, where everyone feels comfortable, naturally. Because the antique dcor takes you to another time, because the attention to detail is pushed to the limit, and lastly, because of the people youll find there. The gracious spirit of the hotel, due to its history or to its beautiful woodwork, parquet flooring, parquetries, vertiginous French ceilings, walls hung with rare fabrics, offers you a relaxing moment with family and friends.

Elegance and refinement

The refinement and elegance of a dcor from the past, the Hotel Saint Joseph is filled with the subtle odor of wood, antique books await to relive in the hands of our guests, and the precious art decorating the wall for you to contemplate by candlelight. Oversized golden and bronze couches provide an air of relaxed elegance, and invite you to sink in. The terra cotta tiling and parquet flooring are garnished with thick silk rugs. Each and every object has been carefully chosen at antique markets across Europe.

Rooms and Suites

The rooms are decorated with wall-hangings and beautiful cloth, in the warmest of tones. The bathrooms have a family-home feel, with nickel faucets and terra cotta-tiled floors awaiting your exit from the bath tub. Each room is decorated individually, and each has its own story to tell: filled with antiques, with attention brought to each detail. Sumptuous canopy beds, French parquet flooring, and every contemporary comfort reconcile past elegance and modernity with aplomb. The Saint Joseph disposes of 10 rooms, 2 junior suites and 2 suites.

Apartments
Generous volumes and common spaces to meet with friends and family, the Saint Joseph contains 2 duplex apartments within its walls. Luxuriously exclusive, these apartments offer exceptional services: a butler and a chef, on command, answer your every need. Each apartment has a private entrance and ski room. A dining room and kitchen allow you to eat in. Each apartment consists of 4 suites with en suite bathroom, a sauna and a Jacuzzi.

The Salons and the Bar.

The central point of the mansion is here: to heat yourself after a healthy day of skiing, a hot cup of cocoa or tea, or an invigorating drink in the absolute comfort of the wood-paneled salon. To sink into a deep couch or the majestic arms of a chair, to the rhythm of a crackling fire, in the Saint Josephs salons is a unique experience. Have a drink at the central bar, made of hand hewn polished wood and appreciate our impeccable service.

The largest ski domain of the world

Courchevel Valley is composed of 528 hectares of mountain space, entirely dedicated to mountain sports. Schuss down as many of the 150 kilometers of dammed runs serviced by 62 lifts as you can, fully exploiting each day on the slopes. For beginners, there are several Zen zones, designated accessible and calm areas for you to develop your skills in total safety. There are 27 green runs and 44 blue runs to help you hone your burgeoning talent. For more experienced mountain riders, 38 red runs and 10 black diamond runs await to push your skills to the limit. Whatever your level, Courchevel has a plethora of choice to offer, to make each of your days on the mountain unforgettable ones. Courchevel is also part of the largest ski domain in the world: the 3 Valles offer skiers 600 km of groomed and maintained runs. Discover the grandiose panoramas spreading from the Mt. Blanc chain to the North, to the Ecrins chain to the South, as well as one-of-a-kind views of the Swiss and Italian Alps to the North and East.
