A Stay That Prolonged My excitement to know more about the city made me amicable with my conductor; Amadeo who

soon became my guide to Madrid, he told me Madrid is considered one of the top European destinations concerning art museums. So I decided to start my journey from a museum. I was warmly received at Madrid International Airport Barajas and I found my Alqulier de vehculos (hired car) waiting for me outside. Finally! I said, Lets explore Madrid. Amadeo took me to the most famous "Golden Triangle of Art" Prado Museum, was one of the three triangles we first visited. It is known for its highlights such as Diego Velzquez's Las Meninas and Gayes La maja vestida and includes Italian primitives and works from the English, Dutch and German schools,. Second attraction of the "Golden Triangle of Art" was Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, an art museum near prado museum. It is known as the Reina Sofia galleries. It fills the historical gaps in its counterparts' collections. Thyssen-Bornemisza, once the second largest private collection in the world after the British Royal Collection it includes Impressionists, Expressionists, and European and American paintings from the second half of the 20th century. Then we decided to visit The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina The museum was officially inaugurated on September 10, 1992 and is named for Queen Sofia of Spain. It is located at the southern end of the so-called Golden Triangle of Art. Amadeo, insisted that I should call it a day but I was full of wild spirits to explore. My quest had been spurred by what I saw till then. I asked him to take me to The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando that currently functions as a museum and gallery that houses a fine art collection of paintings from the 15th to 20th century: Giovanni Bellini, Correggio, Rubens, Zurbaran, Murillo, Juan Gris, Pablo Serrano. The academy is also the headquarters of the Madrid Academy of Art. . I was over whelmed with the places, but the city had so much to offer that I could not get enough, it was dark and the nightlife in Madrid had begun. It was undoubtedly one of the city's main attractions. I visited tapas bars, cocktail bars, clubs, jazz lounge and then live music venues. All in one day, Madrid proved to be a splendid city and I was forced to extend my stay there. When I left the city, apart from its rich heritage I thanked the unmatched services of Alquiler de Vehculos . While Madrid possesses a modern infrastructure, it has preserved the look and feel of many of its historic neighborhood and streets. Its landmarks include the Royal Palace of Madrid; the Teatro Real (Royal theatre) with its restored 1850 Opera House; the Buen Retiro park, founded in 1631; the 19th-century National Library building (founded in 1712) containing some of Spain's historical archives; anarchaeological museum. A visit to Golden Triangle of Art, and night life of the city forced the author to prolong her stay. There are rental companys vehicles available for you to choose.
