LISTEN TO, THE WORDS OF GOD

AND . BELIEVE IN THEM

Eventhou&h you do not hear the Word of ' God yet somebody
who hears the Word outside this Hall, who' believes and puts
into practice is saved but you remain here for years without
complying yourself with any instruction the Gospel has' ,'given.
Right now' a 'grea't many people throughout the world have
repented of their sins, havihg heard these Gospels 'ana'read
even one of our pamphlets. but you remain, here for Jriany:years
and still indulge yourself in all acts of sin which means'
that yoU" hei theI" hear the Word' of God nor have fai t h ~ "From
this year on it is incumbent upon the children of God to 'hear
the Word of God. v!hosoever hears' the Word of God has faith.
Always open your ears and listen to the Word of 'God preached
to you, give full concentration, empty Y0ur heart, open 'your
ears and eyes and always focus your attention when the 'Gospel
is being delivered to you. Whether or not you have "the' ability
to practise the Gospel you first' sitdown' quietly and If/sten
to the Sermon preached. During 'the deliverY. of any Gospel
every person should sit down with absoiute'humilityto "receive
the Word of God. During such an occas16n do not'converse'w1th
any person, do not make any inquiry, do not mo:Ve a'bout;';and do

not move in and out of the building and do not disturb others
but always listen to the Word of God'attentlvely, concentrate
your attention 6n the Father and receive the Word of life.
This is faith and faith comes by hearitig the Word 'of God.

Do you remember the story of Hartha and her sister Mary.
When Our Lord Jesus Christ visited them at their house an'd
Mary sat at the Christ's feet and heepdthe Word of God.,
r1artha was cumbered about with much serving', finding and
preparing food which their visitor would eat. She abandoned
the 'vlord of God but engaged herself finding food for the Lord.
Inspite of this, she was very much exasperated with her
sister since she was serving alone and so she VJent to Our
Lord Jesus Christ and said "Lord do you not c'are that my
sister has left me alone to serve in the kitchen bid her

therefore'to come and ass1st me. II Our Lord Jesus Christ
called her,I.I,rllartha, ~ 1 a r t h a , you are c'areful and troubled about
many things, but one thing is needful and Hary has chosen that
good part which shall not be taken away from her," From that
time on, have you heard anything else abou:t;t-1D.rtha? It is
only Mary that you always hear about. She V/C'\f) the person who
attended with the Mother of Our Lord during the Lord' s
whi+e the ,name of Martha has lost in oblivion and sank in the
limbo ot time. visited the sepulchre? It was Mary. Who
went to the sepulchre on the resurrection morning? It was
Mary. It is very expedient for every person to hear the Word of God,
If you have not been able to do any other thing or practise
the Gospel of God in the past, but from this pentecostal
+isten to all Gospel of'God. do not why, and do not argue,
do not bandy words with any person because of the Gospel, d9
not, sleep and do not converse. But whether or not you are
able to practise ,the Gospel is one thing but the first
requirement is that you should first of all listen to the
Words of God. when the Word of God falls on the ground it
breaks the mighty stones but when it rises up it perfects
