INFINITY CONVEYOR BELT CLEANING SYSTEMS

The function of an efficient belt cleaning system is to remove the fugitive material which remains on the return strand of the belt and to assist in spillage control by returning that material to the main material flow within the confines of the discharge chute. Belt cleaners work most efficiently as a system. The make-up of each system will vary depending on your belt cleaning requirements, chute design, material types, tonnage, belt speeds, the presence of mechanical fasteners and the quality of the belt top cover. There may be a number of different types of belt cleaners used in a system. Generally they will consist of a primary cleaner, a secondary cleaner and for high performance belt cleaning, a third cleaner will be installed in the tertiary position. In extreme cases of high carry back, a fourth cleaner can lower carry back levels. The reason a systems approach is best is related entirely to performance and belt life. Overloading a single belt cleaner will result in a higher rate of maintenance and a rapid reduction in belt cover life, while a multiple cleaner system, employing water, reduces belt cover wear, cleaner component wear and contributes substantially to dust suppression. The proper selection, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the cleaning system will ensure individual cleaners are at their most efficient, reduce site clean-up and maintenance costs while improving profitability and extending belt life. Position of INFINITY Belt Cleaners

Cleaners on the dirt side of the Belt These are ordinary belt cleaners. The product range includes carving, rubbing and rotating cleaners Cleaners on the return belt These are ploughing or wiping return cleaners that take off the material occasionally dropped onto the clean side of the belt thus preventing the undesired material being conveyed between the belt and pulley. Pulley Cleaners These protect the belt from getting damaged by continuously cleaning the belt for centering and steady travel of the belt.
Types of Belt Cleaners

1. Rubbing and Rotating Cleaners These cleaners are used alone or in to increase the efficiency of the carving cleaners 2. Carving Cleaners The carving cleaner is one of the most popular cleaner types. 3. Cleaners on the return belt Belt wipers clean of the material and objects dropped on the return belt. This protects both the tension and tail pulley and the belt from getting damaged. 4 And 5. Pulley Cleaners Pulley cleaners clean the pulleys and keep them free from dirt. Thus dirt cannot guide the belt sideways.

INFINITY XQ 1 Brush Belt Cleaner is a motorized brush conveyor belt cleaner installed under the return belt of the conveyor. It has cylindrical nylon brush and the tips of the brush touch the belt surface gently. The rotating brush turns in the opposite direction of the belt. Therefore it brushes away the sticky materials into the funnel. INFINITY XQ2 rotary brush cleaner is installed on the conveyor frame through two supports. It uses the speed and force of the belt rolling over the drive roller. When the belt runs, the drive roller rotates due to the friction force which drives the brush through the swaybrace. The rotating direction of the nylon brush is opposite to that of the return belt.
