Ps 121:1-8 I love this Psalm! So powerful... Wherever you are at right now its time to lift your eyes. Sometimes life can cause us to have a downward glance. God wants us looking up, looking to Him and remembering that real help comes from Him! Ps 121 reminds us too that He is on the job. Verse 5 says the Lord is your shade so when the heat is on run to Him. Wherever you are at in life God is there when you invite Him into your situation. November is coming and we have Ps Zhenya and Vera Kasevich from Hillsong Kiev with us once again. We love these guys and it is sure to be a weekend of great impact. Also in December we have our annual Pantomime and Christmas Services. Along with these events there is much to be inviting friends and family to. WoW here we are in term 4 already and the exciting build-up of festivities for Christmas is upon us. We will be supporting out Care again this year, offering us all an opportunity to take a label from our Gods Girls Christmas tree and purchase a childs gift for women prisoners in Bandyup Prison, to give to their children during the Christmas visit. Each year we receive a thank you from out Care to our ladies expressing heartfelt gratitude for the impact this has on women. We also have our 2011 Christmas Pantomime on Saturday 17 december and welcome any ladies who would like to assist in makeup, costumes, props and catering. Please give your name and where you would like to help to Fiona Stocks or Gazelle Steenkamp at Gods Girls or at the information desk at weekend church services. dont forget to be thinking about who you can invite to our fabulous Christmas services at Sunset Coast. it is by far an easier time to send out invitiations to our unchurched friends, family and neighbours.
