The strenght of building a narrative, a main story related with the importance of a place or a community.

Storytelling communicates facts, but it also builds upon real-life accounts to enrich public expectations and elevate beliefs. To these ends, it is worthwhile to get reacquainted with the childrens story. Although regarded as a vehicle to escape reality, the childrens story, and in particular the fairy tale, could again help to elucidate larger social and political storylines.

The open access to information have the potential to make the information transparent and then to distribute the power to decide of a few to a many. The information, the knowledge and the medium is democratized. The relationship between members of these new political movements reafrms the network structure. Each person is a node. Every citizen is a point of view. Each member is a reality, similar or disparate.

The collection, order and sharing of valid information resources to be reproduced, altered or remixed by others, in the same situations or adapted to new ones.

It seems strange to researchers like myself that anyone should question the necessity for collecting materials from the past and organizing them in publicly funded archives... The past is always relevant to the present. At the same time, contemporary insights let us reacquaint ourselves with past documentation and see in it, for the rst time as it were, implications hitherto unseen or unappreciated. Archives are an essential means of examining the past.
