Installation Procedure:
For Windows: 1. 2. 3. Unzip/uncompress the files using some type of uncompression software like WinZip. Open the folder(s) that you have unzipped/uncompressed, and double-click on the setup file, which is usually Setup.exe. Choose which language you want for the installation and left-click on Ok.

This is the End User License Agreement. If you agree, left-click the I accept the terms of the license agreement and then left-click Next.

When the install is done, you will get the following Window. Click on Finish to close the installer.
WD AnyWhere Backup should now be installed and ready to use. Note: If you receive any type of error during the install of the software make sure that you have the latest Windows updates and Service Packs. You can also reboot your computer to get a fresh load of Windows and then try the install again. If you still have issues with installation, please Contact Us.
For Mac: 1. 2. Unzip/uncompress the files using some type of uncompression software like Stuffit Expander. Open the folder(s) that you have unzipped/uncompressed and double-click on the WDAnyWhereBackup.dmg.

This will open the install package. Double-click on WD AnyWhere Backup to start the installer.

You may get a popup letting you know that the package has a program in it and if you want to continue. Click on Continue.

The next step is to choose the location that you want to install the program to. By default it should choose the Internal drive, which is where it should be installed. Click on Continue.

It will then verify that this is where you want to install the program. Click on Install.

10. You may be asked to authenticate in order to allow the install to proceed. Type in your Name and Password. Then click on Ok.

12. The install should be finished. Click on Close to close the install wizard. When the install wizard finishes, your web browser may open to a web page. If you are not interested in reading it, you can just close it.
