Sing the song yellow. Touch objects or furniture in the classroom and present the vocabulary (colors/ objects). Show flash cards and practice the vocabulary. Students divide a sheet of their notebook in two sections. And then write the red and yellow. Have the students color each section according to the color word.

Sing the song What color is it?. Use TPR to practice classroom commands. Show flash to review the vocabulary. As you hold up the appropriate number of fingers 1- 5, say Im showing (five). Then say show me (two). Have the students hold up the correct number of fingers. Students divide a sheet of their notebooks in 2 parts and draw and write the numbers 1 and 2.

Write the numbers 1 5 on the board. Read the number words several times for the students repeat. Practice number concepts. Clap five times, counting as you do. So. Have the students copy you. then clap four times, three times, and so on. Have the students write the numbers 1- 5 into their notebooks. Say the numbers in random order ask a volunteer to point to the correct number.
