Greets the class Hello and introduce yourself. Sing the song Good Morning
Presentation
Present and review classroom showing flash cards. Write on the board useful phrases such as May I come in? Read them aloud for the students to repeat. Students write the phrases into their notebooks and illustrate them.
Volunteer go to the board and acts out a classroom object and the rest of the class guesses it.

Application
Students Draw themselves, the school and the teacher and two friends into their notebooks.
And then write : My names is ________ The schools name is ______ The teachers name is ______ My friends names are _____
On the board in a column, place picture cards of five classroom objects. Next to the items in another column, draw a small part of the items. Have the students copy the activity then, draw lines to mach the pictures.
Assessment
Have each student individually write the correct word next to the picture.

Presentation
Touch objects or furniture in the classroom and present the vocabulary (colors/ objects). Draw pictures of three large crayons. Color one red, one green and one blue. Name the color aloud for the students repeat. Have the students draw 3 school objects and color them according to the crayon.
Practice
Ask to the students show me a pencil. Have the students hold up the object.
Show flashcards once again and ask Whats this? Its a ____.

Sing the song Ready for School. Color Bingo Have the students divide a sheet of their notebook into 9 sections. Color the squares using different colors.
Practice
Ask to the students show me a pencil. Have the students hold up the object. Listen and Color. Draw 10 classroom objects on the board. Have the students copy the activity. When students get finished, name the object and the color. Have the students color the picture. Show flashcards once again and ask Whats this? What color is it?
Point to different objects in the classroom and say Its color (red).

Write 8 classroom objects on the board. Have the students read them aloud.

Use TPR to practice classroom commands. Show flash to review the vocabulary. As you hold up the appropriate number of fingers 1- 10, say Im showing (five). Then say show me (two). Have the students hold up the correct number of fingers.
Touch objects or furniture in the classroom and review vocabulary (colors/ objects).
Show flashcards to review vocabulary. Counting by doing Have the students practice counting by doing exercises. First, model jumping as you direct children to jump (5) times. Then lead them in doing other exercises Arithmetic Write simple addition problems. Tell the students how to read them in English. For example, 1+3 =4..

Divide the board into 4 sections. An then write: three books, ten pencils, 7 crayons and 1 teacher in each square. Have the students copy the statements and draw pictures.
Circle the number Have the students write the numerals 1 10 on into their notebooks. Then say Circle the number (2) and so on. Invite volunteer to the activity on the board.
Assessment
Say the numbers in random order ask a volunteer to point to the correct number.
