Rules and Regulations for Surtarang 2011


The competition would be open to singers of three age groups: I. Sub Junior - Above 5 Years Below 12 Years II. Junior - 12 Years and above Below 18 Years III. Senior - 18 Years and above Below 28 Years The Competition would be conducted in two categories: Filmy and Non Filmy The participant would have to submit a copy of his/her date of birth certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. The competition would be held in 5 stages: i) Regional Preliminary ii) State Finals iii) Inter-Regional Finals iv) All India Semi Finals v) All India Finals The performance would be evaluated by a panel of judges appointed by the regional chapter and their decision would be final and binding in all respects. The musical instrument along with their accompanists would be provided by regional chapter. The regional chapter reserves the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any reasons thereof. In case of any dispute in any matter pertaining to competition, the legal jurisdiction will be Delhi. The participants need to bring two self attested passport size photographs along with them. There will be a Participation Expense Fee of Rs. 100 for each category. Last date for submitting the Registration Form is October 20th, 2011
