Pray that the Lord would heal Jim Baker of all his cancer and other illnesses, and restore the strength of his youth. Please pray for a safe delivery for the Skellon's baby. Please pray that the Lord would show us what community ministries we should be pursuing as we survey the people at the Stars Party tomorrow evening. Pray also that many of those in attendance will find their way to church on a Sunday morning in the coming months. Pray for an outreach for children and youth who survived the 11th March earthquake and tsunami in their home town of Ishinomaki, northern Japan. Pray for the children and young people who have attended and that these youngsters will come to know Jesus.

It was one of those days. You know the kind nothing seemed to go right and everything seemed to go wrong one big mess. Anyone but me ever experience an extremely long, hard, painful, and unfair day? One that just plain stinks? Spiritual transformation often occurs during lifes most intense times. These are the exact places God desires His children to shine the brightest. Hopefully, His child will realise every mess in life has the potential to become a ministry opportunity. Gods classroom requires participation. His child must learn dependence on a much greater power to reflect Christ. This empowerment in, through, and beyond his ability reveals a ministry an opportunity to shine brilliantly in the bleakest of times. No wonder it has been said trials dont necessarily make someone, rather they reveal him. Regardless of what you may face a financial setback, job loss, wayward child, health issues, God understands and cares. The wonderful news is, God will do through his child what the child cannot do for himself. Thus an enlightened life lesson is learned; instead of walking in mans strength he learns to walk in Christs strength. Face your battles with courage because the supernatural power of God anxiously waits to manifest itself in great and mighty ways. Though life is hard, hurtful, and unfair, a change will come. Seek after the power of an eternal God and youll find life isnt so bad. For more, go to www.whac.net.nz/resources BIRTHDAYS COMING UP .......
