Task One
The following are the main equipment that would be installed in the firm; 1. DS200 (IP) - Digital PABX This is the kind of a private automation branch exchange switching system which can be deployed in a private enterprise like the accountancy film.

The features available with this system are; o Instant Messaging This PABX has the capability to send and receive messages between each others instantly. This can be archived by using IP Desktop Phones and Softphones. This protocol gives the chance to see messages even if you were offline at the time the message was sent. As storage for the offline messages, it has a memory of 500 kilobytes. Presence It has the ability to inform you about the status of the other extensions or lines. You will be notified about the availability of the extensions through the corresponding LED activity. Additionally if you have a SoftPhone then you might have all supported indications such as Online, Offline, Ringing, Busy, Away and Idle. You may also add messages just next to your status icon.

Integrated Auto-Attendant It has the ability of to show messages which were previously stored in EVM200 Card only are now in CF Memory with a capacity of 4 Channels. Enhanced Phonebook With the help of the LDAP Server in the new CPUIV, you may now reach to a remote phonebook, which may be a phonebook out of your central office, scroll through it and search people by their names. Internal Music It has the capability of playing some music while one is on hold to find the right extension t put the phone line to. Alarm Software You may view the status of the DS200 systems installed in different locations

through this interface. You may even upload different maps to the software and place your DS200 systems on the map. In case of an alarm situation, the Software will warn you with both visual and acoustic warnings. Alternatively, you may register your e-mail adress to receive alarm notifications through e-mail. You may edit & revise the Alarm messages as to your needs. o SNMP Integrated SNMP provides central management over multisite exchanges. but for this exercise this is not necessary SNMP Agent Version II is integrated in the new CPUIV.
