- Consectatio
Our Faculty. Our Vision for 2012. As we enter the fifth year of Undergraduate Law Society, we can look back on great successes over the past years. And together, as we look to the future, we will strive for better and achieve more. Consectatio means pursuit in Latin. If elected as your executive committee member and President, I will pursue excellence, representation, and collaboration with you.
Mooting Competitions/Moot Workshops A mooting group will be formed by the ULS Executive Committee. The group will partner with lawyers, moot professors, and students. They will organize mooting workshops with lawyers to help prepare students better, internal/external mooting competitions (providing students with the opportunity to practice advocacy and apply their learning in topics like tort, criminal, and land), and preserve our Facultys rich and illustrious history in mooting. Affordable Costs & Welfare Costs are too high for all of us, especially in regards to printing and event costs. The Welfare aspect of the committee will be expanded significantly to raise funds and sponsorships to help reduce printing costs. In particular, we will introduce the Sponsorship Program and actively look for outside vendors to partner with us. We will also hold a poll to see what items you want (eg. Laptop cases, more society paper, etc). If you have any ideas or comments, please email me at: adrianfong.93@gmail.com. Website: www.adrianfonguls.tk
