nishas experience with the health care system in America in her opinion was not of same quality as the health care she recieacd back home in India, because of the lack of natural herbs and certain plants that could on be found and in her home country and the remedies to heal the body could only be practiced by members of her family with the experienced and knowledge of her culture. she had to abandon her old practice and rely on the American way of practicing Medicine which involved pills and over the counter medicines which in her opinion made her body immune system weaker and more susceptible to infections and disease. This assignment has increased my knowledge about other countries and their beliefs in the way medicine should be practiced. i learned that people have a many different ways in caring for their sick. i believe that after conducting this interview it has opened my mind to explore medicine a different way i will begin to do research on ways of practicing medicine the natural way and using herbal supplements to heal the body and not to rely on dugs to rid my boy of illness. this assignment has brought me closer to my good fielded who I've the honor of serving in the army with to become much closer in our friendship because of my understanding of her culture and their perspective of certain thing
