WORK EXPERIENCE through vacation work (University Summer Program) is essential to gain a good understanding of the mining industry (especially in remote regions).

Some Specific tasks that exploration geologists do in the mining industry Explore specific areas of the earth to work out its structure and the types of rocks or minerals that exist; Plan, conduct and interpret geological surveys in exploring mineral commodities such as gold, base metals, diamonds and coal using various integrated technical disciplines including geochemistry, field mapping, structural geology and geophysics; Study rock cores, cutting and samples to acquire data required to vector in to discovery of economic mineralization, coal, oil, gas and geothermal energy sources.
