The Spirit of Life Centre, Greece – a place to pause, re-connect and draw inspiration!

Eco-Campus, @ The Spirit of Life Centre, Mani, Greece provides an independent

forum set up to serve the needs of One Living Planet.

The Eco-Campus Community (Sangha) welcomes thinkers and entrepreneurs,

eco-visionaries and scientists, artists, writers and teachers as well as creative
specialists, ecologists and all those whose livelihood depends on Nature.

We comprise a network of members and specialists that you can be introduced to,
in order to meet, exchange ideas, listen, collaborate and share ideas and contacts
that may be relevant to your career, enterprise or organisational needs.

The Spirit of Life Centre (SOL) is here to support

“Green” charities, investors, Social Entrepreneurs
and their communities to realise positive change.

At the Centre, we understand that, faced with

issues and concerns, it is not always to
government or institutions, universities or
academics, politicians or leaders that we have to
turn.

As men and women, as members of community we

can look to be inspired by other sources of help:
those around us, the marketplace, within our
communities – thus we realise our own unique
response as citizens of the planet.

“Eco-” comes from the Greek word “ikos” which

means “household”.
With the words “eco-nomy” and “eco-logy” the Ancient Greeks show they realised
the connection between their own daily lifestyles and the bigger picture.
This realisation calls for active participation for all.

Thus, a commitment to citizenship, participation and open society made Greece

the “cradle of democracy” in its early days. The challenges we face, as citizens of
the planet, demonstrate, like them, it is time now for us to achieve together what
we cannot achieve alone.

About you
You are invited to Greece to orient yourself to the needs of Socially Responsible
Enterprise, understand, consider and respond effectively to the demands of living
in times of change.
