Pastors Column
Hello friends! Its November and this is a great time to do a very healthy thing: simply give thanks. Our relationship with God can be complicated, but at its core is gratitude, being thankful for all that God does. Admittedly our thankfulness can be overrun by other thingsworries, plans for tomorrow, and plain old grumpiness. We can get out of the habit of being thankful. So for November, I offer you a challenge. Take your November calendarthe one you see the most, maybe the one that hangs in your kitchen or the one you carry to meetings and write one thing that you are thankful for on each day. You have to come up with 30 thingssurely you can do that! Throughout the month of November take time each day to say thank you. We can develop a whole new habit! Psalm 9:1 I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart. May it be so! Blessings- Pastor Cindy PS: Please know that I am thankful for you. Read on the learn about more things that we can be thankful for!

up listening. A younger generation has been raised seeing through television and movies. The new service will use audio visual equipment so that we can reach this seeing generation. The music will be more contemporary again to speak to an audience who is new to the church and faith and who does not hear through traditional hymns. The service we have now will remain the same. There will be one change. We now worship at 9:15. Beginning on November 20, we will worship at 9 am. This will allow for more time for fellowship and coming and going in the parking lot between services. This is all change and we can look around and wonder what is happening to my church? The building addition to the church felt like a miraclesomething that could only happen through the Holy Spirit. It seems the Holy Spirit is not done with us. We are reminded that this is not our church at allit belongs to God. And thankfully so do we. Bloom2 needs your prayers and support. Please pray for this every day. Pray that those outside the church or at a distance from the church, nd a home inside. Pray that we might offer that home. Amen Pastor Cindy and the Bloom2 Team.
