Miller Coors is one of the biggest beer supplier in USA initially miller and Coors have different Supply chain Setup after the joint venture we have leverage the Legacy and the new application by integrating with Informatica. The main goal of the project was to find out how long does it take to close a case starting from the day of first contact with the customer until a decision has been made whether it is a quote/issue/decline. Responsibilities: Worked heavily with Business Analyst to understand the business and to design the architecture of the data flow. Worked with source system developers and business owners to identify data sources for defining data extraction methodologies. Designed the metadata tables and created mappings to populate the same. These tables were used to generate the parameter files. Analyzed the source data, made decisions on appropriate extraction, transformation, and loading strategies Analyzed complex ETL requirements/tasks and provided estimates etc. Created complex mappings in Power Center Designer using Aggregate, Expression, Filter, and Sequence Generator, Update Strategy, Union, Lookup, Joiner, XML Source Qualifier and Stored procedure transformations. Various data marts were developed to provide the solutions for profitability analysis, optimizing the production lead times and their effectiveness. Worked in one of these companies i.e. Health Now. The main objective of the project was to release the new version of the existing data warehouse after rectifying performance issues.
