Old vs. New
Want to know the difference between the old and new Yankee Stadiums? More Comfortable Seating There may be fewer seats available (the old sat 56,886, the new seats 52,325), but the seats are wider and with more legroom. Instead of each seat being 18 to 22, they are now 19 to 24. The legroom increased from 29.5 between rows, to 33 to 39. Each seat now also includes a cup holder. More Convenient Amenities In addition to having more comfortable seating, fans can now enjoy more services in the stadium. The concourse width has increased from 17 feet to 32 feet. The restroom fixtures have increased from one for every 89 fans to one for every 60 fans, and family-style restrooms have been added. There are more places to eat and more team stores inside the stadium than before. In fact, the only thing that hasnt changed are the field dimensions. Theyre exactly the same dimensions as the old - guaranteed.

Stadium Tours
The best way to see everything the stadium has to offer is to go on tour. The classic tour lasts anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, and includes visits to the New York Yankees Museum (presented by Bank of America), Monument Park, and the dugout and clubhouse/batting cage area. The clubhouse/batting cage is only available during the offseason or when the team is away. Classic tours for individuals (1 to eleven people) commence every 20 minutes from noon until 1:40 PM. If tours sell out, other time slots will be made available. Tours will not be held after 1:40 PM on a game day. When you purchase a non-game day tour online, you can add the option of eating lunch at either the Hard Rock Caf or NYY Steak. Each restaurant offers a prix-fixe menu.
