Many of label.m products are free from Sulphates (cleansing agent), Parabens (preservative) and Sodium Chloride (thickening agent).
Although not proven to have adverse affects, Sulphates and Parabens have received bad publicity over the years linking them to cancer. Consequently, the public views them in a negative way and the exclusion of these additives can sway their decision to purchase. Sodium Chloride, commonly known as table salt, can make hair care products harsh and can sting the eyes. It is for these reasons that label.m chose to exclude these ingredients wherever possible. For your information, the table opposite shows which label.m products are Sulphate, Paraben and Sodium Chloride free:

Here are 2 strategies you can adopt in your salon that are guaranteed to help increase your retail revenue:
Leave products at reception At the end of the appointment, take the products you used for your client to reception, either loose or in a basket if you have some, and say e.g. These are the products we used on your hair today, if youd like to create this same look yourself until your next visit The personalised product guide Write personalised comments within the guide about the products you use for your client to then take away with them.

You will see below a few key points we suggest you consider to help maximise your retail potential:
The client cannot buy anything unless they know it exists Letting the client know the products exist is a very simple rule that is common sense but one that is often overlooked. If you see a product on a shelf you dont acknowledge it unless its what youre looking for. By telling a client Im using Protein Spray before I blow-dry to protect against heat styling the client is most likely to notice Protein Spray in your retail area. The products need to be accessible to the client Display the products in an easily accessible area, for example on shelving or on a retail stand where there are no obstacles in the way for the client. If the label.m products are displayed behind the reception counter, the client will have to walk around the reception counter to reach the products and this will make most clients feel uncomfortable. The layout of the salon retail area varies tremendously so if there is no other position within the salon to merchandise your retail you can consider other ways to make those products accessible e.g. leaving the products at reception, as previously mentioned. How much is it? There are several ways that you can let the client know the price of the recommended products without having to tell them yourself. Prices are visible on the price card, which is usually located at the reception counter, and on the product guide. If you like to show the products to the client while they are sitting at the dressing-up position, it is a good idea to put a price sticker at the base of the product as a subtle way of informing the client of the price. Finally, and most importantly, HAVE FUN! It is vital that you work as a team and create a fun and exciting working environment which is best achieved through staff incentives. Remember; emotions are infectious! You have the ability to affect everyone around you. When you are happy and enthusiastic about the products, your team and your clients will be too!
