How to Write Project Proposal ?


Introduction. Proposal has to briefly describe all what you plan to do in your project. You do not need to specify details of your ideas. You should convince us that your has some challenges. You should point out how your project differs from other related projects (if there are?).

Team Work
Team members have to collaborate in work. Work has to be divided between team members.
You should identify work tasks. You should put a work plan. You should identify the interests of each team members.

You should learn and fill any skill needed for each member. (Do that this semester) (Do that this semester) Do not work together on same task. (Risk not to finish on time). Title has to reflect the work in the project. Title has to be kept short enough but one has to understand what is the project about. Consult your supervisor to agree on project title.

Proposal Elements Small Abstract


Abstract should summarize what is the project about. What is to be done/achieved. What is the expected outcome. Do not explain technologies in this part. Focus on the work to be executed.

Proposal Elements Project objectives List the objectives of your project. Write them in an attractive way (). Example:

List the name of your supervisor. Please make sure that your supervisor has interest in your project. Please make sure that your supervisor has experience / interests in your project field. You should motivate your project. You should state why the project is important. You should state how your project differs from other related projects:

Explain What you need to work on your project. Identify both:

Write a plan of your work. As Said, identify the tasks. Arrange them. Estimate the time for each task. Try to identify possibly parallel tasks. Assign Tasks to members (if possible at this phase)

Project Report

Complete Understanding of Project Idea. Complete Assignment of Tasks among Members. Learning and fulfilling all needed skills, or missing experience. Preparing and Finding all required tools and components. (Hardware and software) Prepare a preliminary design plan of your project. (Blocks/subsystems, Relations among blocks, information needed for each block) Full Project Report.

Should motivate the project. Should State the project objectives, approach, any new technology. It is an extended abstract (but not a copy). Should include related work section. Should include Summary of expected results. Reader of Introduction chapter has to understand everything about your project.
