Job Profile:Drive tests & Optimization of GSM Air interface for New Site, Site swapping, Site Migrations, Benchmarking and for any up gradations using TEMS Drive Test Software. Site Optimization and its throughout performance testing and improvement of its KPI. Frequency planning including full SFH parameters (MA list, MAIO, HSN, etc.) CGI, LAC, Neighbors for cell of new sites so as to make optimum use of frequency and avoid interference using TEMS Investigation and M-COM. Analysis and Post processing of RF drive test log Files on tools like TEMS, MapInfo, MCOM ,RNO Macros etc. to determine Network problems like Poor Coverage Patches, Interference, call drops, hand over Issues. Post processing of Log files and analysis of drive test data on regular basis to identify QOS affecting issues and identification of optimization steps. Analysis of Network performance statistics (KPIs) e.g., Drop Statistics, Hand over statistics and their reasons on day-to-day basis and resolving the problems by taking necessary actions on it.

Feedback to the VoC (Voice of Customer) complaints related to the network coverage and Quality. Planning coverage and capacity sites according to TA. Responsible for Antenna Azimuth, Height & Tilt Planning, Cable Routing etc. Analyzing in 3G(WCDMA) Interference, Call Drops, Handoff failures, IRAT Handover failures, Common Pilot Channel Received Signal Code Power , Common Pilot Channel Interference Ec / No, Scrambling Code and defining Neighbors(3G AND 2G BOTH), Check relation b/w 3G and 2G etc. Testing Carried out under PRODUCT AT on Mobiles and HSPA Dongles as per Customer Requirement Responsible for Call Test (Voice and Video), Data (R99/HSDPA) Test and Submitting the coverage plot report. Changes in the RF database parameters with help of MSC teams for resolving network issues. Finalizing the BTS sites and search ring for optimum coverage. Verifying clutter type (urban, suburban, rural, quasi open etc.). Finalizing the Tower height, antenna orientations. Troubleshooting of the network based on Customer Complaints.
