CHAPTER 7 (23rd October 2011)

Deuteronomy 30:8, 9 We studied about mind & renewal of mind. We should turn our mind from our present stage, and should hear the voice of the Lord. After hearing the voice of the Lord, we should obey all the commandments from God. Without turning our mind back, we will not able to hear the voice of the Lord. We should turn our mind from the current direction to opposite direction. 1. Turn your heart 2. Hear Lords word 3. Obey Lords word. If we do these 3 things in our life, God will bless us in prosperity. God will make our life prosperous. We will be prosperous in, 1. 2. 3. 4. All work of your hands In the fruit of your womb Young of your livestock Crops of your land

The ultimate aim in turning and renew our mind towards God is to bring back the lost glory in us. We should not be worried about the worldly matter and problems we face every day of our life. Even no one is ready to obey the commandments of God, but we should obey them. A person who is coming to this spiritual life, initially he will be a natural man, and later on he will become a spiritual man.

MIND:
We can see 3 types of mind. 1. Conscious mind 2. Subconscious mind 3. Unconscious mind We should study these 3 as a filter. Like a filter Subconscious mind is inside Conscious mind and Unconscious mind is inside Subconscious mind. Conscious mind: What all things we receive through our five senses, will fall into our conscious mind. Conscious mind will not receive everything; some will be rejected by Conscious mind. It is like a reception area, any one can come to this area but all are not allowed to go inside. Subconscious mind: This is not a reception area, but it is a store room. The things accepted by conscious mind, will come into subconscious mind. Emotions will start from subconscious mind, as soon as it receives thoughts from conscious mind. WE HEAR, SEE receive CONSCIOUS MIND transfer SUBCONCIOUS MIND

1. EMOTIONS:
This is a product of Subconscious mind. There are 2 types of emotions 1. Good emotions (Love example) 2. Bad emotions (Anger example) Some people will get angry soon, and immediately they will get calm. In between this anger and calm nature, sin will appear. We are staying in this evil world. Anger is a gift/sin from the world; we should give back this nature back to devil. If we are not able to control the emotions, those emotions will defeat us. We love others because they also love us. We should love each and everyone, and then only we can realize that we have turned our mind to God. The emotions which reach us, whether good or bad, we should be able to control and tackle those emotions. How much we control and tackle those emotions, from that we can see the real spiritual growth of a person. When we are influenced by bad emotions, a spiritual man should sit and discern the evil spirit behind those emotions. After realizing the evil spirit, we should tackle those emotions/evil spirits. Before taking step forward we should study whether the step I am going to take will increase or decrease my spiritual level. We should discern the evil spirit through Holy Spirit. We should pray to God to control the emotions produced by subconscious mind. We should control all bad emotions, and then only God can use us. There are many types of bad emotions, we should study and should be able to control those emotions. Only through the submission of our life to Holy Spirit, we will able to control bad emotions.

Prayer = God give me grace to control my emotions

When first Adam sinned inside the garden, he lost his control over these 3 levels of mind. We are the generations of first Adam by birth, once we accept Jesus, and then we will be able to control all bad emotions which come into our life. For that we have to turn our mind to God and reach the New Testament Garden, which is Church of God.

Church: Place where we get power to control all bad emotions from devil.
Mind is a decision making area. Wrong decisions in our life, will reduce our spiritual level and the correct decision will boost up our spiritual life. So to take correct decisions in our spiritual life, we should be totally controlled by HS. We can see sins all over the world, so it is very much tough to control all bad emotions of the world. At any cost, we have to stop sinning. We should realize what sin is and not sin. Only a victorious person can sit with Jesus. We should not see things, which boost up to do sins. We should block all unwanted scenes from our life, to attain a victorious life. Day by day we have to correct our mistakes and should able to maintain a sinless life.

STEP 1
We should be victorious over our senses. We should be able to control our subconscious mind.

Hebrews 5:13, 14 Our senses should be trained then only we can become a mature spiritual man. For that we should get thorough knowledge about the word of God. We should not hide any sins in front of God, when we open our mind and admit our sins, immediately Jesus will pour out His grace upon us. Our character development depends on our subconscious mind. Jesus never reacted to any reproach in HIS life. A mature spiritual man should not react to any negative things happens in his life. Inside garden, anger was not there in us. What all things inputted by God is us; we should return back all those things to God. We should choose emotions which come into us. Thoughts will come into subconscious mind through conscious mind, once the thoughts reach subconscious mind, we will not able to take that back. If we are not achieving grace from God to turn back from sins, we will not able to sit with Jesus. So we should take victory over our five senses. Subconscious mind is connected with memory; time to time subconscious mind will remind about each and every thoughts in us.

OUR INNER MIND SHOULD BE HEALED

If our mind is not getting healed, our spiritual life is an utter failure. In our inner mind is healed, and then our subconscious mind will become stronger.

Prayer: Oh God! Heal my inner mind

Once our inner mind is healed, our spiritual life will grow fast.

TURN OUR MIND = HEAL OUR MIND

Psalms 34:18 Salvation is connected to our mind/heart. Those who can remain faithful till the end, and then only he can attain the real salvation. Every moment we have to look into our mind, and ask God to clean our mind/heart. This healing will happen when we come back to God, which happens in Church of God.

Church: Is a healing place of mind.

Once our mind is healed, that will be testified on our body. So the most important thing which should happen in our life is the healing of our inner mind.
