Viewing distance and height In general, most viewers feel comfortable sitting away from a regular LCD/Plasma TV at a distance of 1 metre for every 10 of screen size. (e.g. 2.5 metres away from a 24 screen). For optimum viewing, your eyes should be level with the middle of the screen when seated in your normal viewing position. Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your A/V equipment. Placing speakers The sound that you hear in a room is as much influenced by the placement of the speakers and the acoustic performance of the rooms surface and contents as it is by the quality of the speakers and electronics. The illustration below shows the optimal placement of speakers for the best home cinema acoustics. In general, the front speakers should be placed level with the TV. The centre speaker should be placed just above or below the TV. The rear speakers should be placed slightly behind you and not aimed directly at you. Q 8180 Duo Experience From sleek TV to full blown theatre with a snap of your finger. Vogels Duo Experience gives you twice as much viewing enjoyment. For TV mode, the table supports a normal flat screen TV and has plenty of room for CDs, DVDs and other A/V equipment. To switch to theatre mode, simply pull up the full-size projection screen that is built into the table. The screen covers the front of the LCD screen and its side arms hold it firmly in place. Pull out the square cube under the table, place it in front of the screen and press on the button to move the projector into position.

The DFP 2110 and DFP 2140 have a top shelf that is sealed with UV glue that provides stable support for a LCD/Plasma screen TV with a foot.
