A company set up under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 Civil Society Human and Institutional Development Programme (CHIP), is seeking a qualified and experienced applicants to fill the following position based at Islamabad. Coordinator Finance and Administration PROFILE: The position holder would be responsible for: Planning Prepare activity-based project budgets (inputs, unit costs, cost-benefit analysis). Standard Operating Procedures Draft and update from time to time CHIPs financial policies and systems, for managing budgets, investments, cash, costing, payments, reporting, remunerations, incentives, accounting, and internal audit, and other relevant financial procedures. Draft from time to time administrative and logistics policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) for managing personnel, procurement, supplies, distribution, transportation and general services, and other relevant administrative procedures. Internal Control Apply administrative accountability standards to all internal CHIP transactions and immediately notify management in case of variance or non-compliance; Assist in due diligence on all CHIP documents and reports in order to assure compliance with CHIP policies, rules and regulations and operating procedures; Record and monitor inventory of all CHIP assets and in particular stationary items. Financial Reports Track CHIPs financial transactions and their disclosure, prepare organizational and project wise expenditure reports for onward submission to donors on monthly basis. Post all transactions to computerized ledger on daily basis. Taxation Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and statements Calculate and record withholding tax on payments; timely deposit of withheld tax in government treasury, attending to all queries related there-to. Staff Salaries and Benefits Prepare monthly pay roll, issue pay slips, calculate income tax and other deductions; Record and monitor staff gratuity and staff advances. Insurances Record and monitor all insurances held by CHIP including staff related, vehicles, equipment, public liability, etc.; dealing with insurance companies; Support other departments in accounting and office admin related matters. Audit Facilitate audits of CHIP and its projects on regular basis. Supervision and Follow Up

Oversee all office support staff and manage the personnel, logistics and office maintenance functions on a day-to-day basis. Payments To make disbursements in fulfillment of CHIP contractual obligations when compliance is established and as directed by the Manager within the framework of CHIPs policies, rules and regulations and operating procedures; Deliverables / Performance Measurement Indicators 1. Security of CHIPs assets, cash and all finance related documentation 2. Timely preparation, presentation and submission of all finance, legal and corporate affairs related statements, reports and papers. 3. Compliance to SoPs 4. Cash flow forecast and maintenance 5. Public image of CHIP as a financially sound organization. REQUIREMENT: Qualification Experience Skills B.Com & ICMA part qualified At least years experience in the field of Accounts and Finance preferably in development sector Should be proficient in handling accounting software (Sage Accpac)
